B-ko skipped happily down the path to the old school building. She knew A-ya would already be there, and probably C-ta, too. They always were the first to show up after school. She wondered what drove her to join their club-like group. Rumors, legends, and scary stories were never quite her thing on the outside, and A-ya was do infamous for his rumor spreading shenanigans. People would think it was strange for her to take part in such things. But looks deceive, and knowing B-ko, her masks were top quality.

"Evening!" She sang, opening the door. A-ya was there, as predicted, as was D-ne. "Where's C-ta?"

"Seems he got a cold. I called him earlier, didn't sound so good," A-ya explained while wiping off a chalk board. D-ne was reading a book at the table, writing notes as well.

"Too bad," B-ko frowns, sitting beside D-ne. "Aren't we going over one of his favorites?"

"Yes, in fact, we are!" A-ya smiles at her. "Since when did you have such a memory?"

"As if you know all there is to me." She chuckled. A-ya and B-ko loved to tease each other, even if she took it too personally at times. But those were the things that made after school fun.

"Satoru-kun," D-ne said aloud, flipping a page in a book. "The rules are simple. Insert a fee into a payphone, dial in your number. Pick up the phone and say, 'Satoru-kun, Satoru-kun, please come here. Satoru, Satoru, please show yourself. Satoru, Satoru, please answer me if you are there.' After this, hang up the pay phone and turn off your mobile phone. Turn it back in the next day.

"If you did everything right, you should get a call from Satoru-kun within 24 hours. Each time he'll say he's in areas closer and closer to you, and the last time, he will say 'I am behind you now.' Immediately ash your question, and he will answer, then hang up."

"What happens if you look behind you..?" B-ko asked nervously.

"What else? He drags your soul to hell and you're done!" A-ya exclaimed as he wrote the instructions on the black board.

"Oh, of course you'd like that!" She said. D-ne only smiled, shaking her head at the two. They always fought like this, but it was only friendly banter. It was how they bonded.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but may I join in?"

Soon the sun began to set, and they were still going over the legend of the day, when a familiar student appeared in the doorway. She had blonde hair and brown eyes, which were complimented by the uniform. Her nails were painted a soft blue that went well with her ivory skin.

No wonder they stop and stare, A-ya thought as he looked her over. Rose Ayou, a new student at the school that had only attended for a week now.

"You sure C-ta would be OK with this?" B-ko whispered to her fangirl, who ignored the question completely.

"If you don't mind, I have a small riddle for you all." Rose sets a photo on the table. There was a house, with windows and a door. In the front were a few trees, a shovel leaning against one of them. There was also a hill in the back. The window closest to the top was labeled 1, the big window below it was 2. 3 was a door connected to the house. 4, 5, and 6 were trees, and 7 was a hill in the back.

"1, Violet's room with the small window. 2, Rose's room with the big window. 3, the toolshed. 4, 5, 6, 7, Rose. 2, Violet's room with the big window." She explained.

B-ko stared at the photo. "This... Doesn't make sense-"

"Violet killed Rose." A-ya was now standing over the table, looking at the picture. "She was envious of the bigger window. So she killed Rose with weapons from the tool shed, cut her up, buried her in places around the house, and moved into the bigger room."

"All for a window?" D-ne said. "Kind of dramatic."

And it's strange, because they're both named Rose, B-ko thought to herself.

"Nevertheless, Miss Rose took the time to compose this riddle for us!" He folds his arms, smiling. "We should be thankful."

"No no, I got it from my mother. I couldn't think of anything so clever-"

A-ya pats her head, interrupting.

"Welcome to the group...

My beautiful rose."
