1st Letter, Rose

Rose let out a shaky sigh, closing her laptop, sitting at her empty desk in her empty room. She wore grey leggings that stopped mid-calf, a white spaghetti strap, and no shoes. It had been two days since the game started, and she was already getting anxious. It seemed to effect her entire life, and everything she did. Homework, talking, getting dressed, drawing, socializing, everything seemed to have a consequence. Even her passion, singing. Her voice was just too scared to form melody, and this made her very sad.

The blonde looked around her room, the blank walls staring back at her. The only things in there were her, the desk, a bookshelf with a few novels, her bed, and the window. It was big, one yard across, probably half a yard in height. There were blinds and curtains for privacy, and a closet to it's right. This is where all her clothes stayed. She moved away a piece of hair before grabbing a hair tie next to her, raising her golden locks up into a pony tail.

"... Could be killed at any moment.." she swallowed, "Might as well die in comfort."

Rose moves to her bed, plopping back onto the bouncy mattress. Her head hit the pillow with a loud THUD, and she immediately sat up.

"Ow!! What the...!?" She grabbed the pillow in it's case, feeling something solid inside. Upon removing the case, a black book was revealed, with a book mark and letter sticking out. She stops, her heart skipping a beat or two. There it was. The book, the letter-even the book mark was in place.

"....... Oh god..." She whimpered. "Oh god, oh god oh god...!" Rose slowly picked it up. "Could it be..? Kokkuri-san... Worked?" She swallowed. "Th-the letter..." She opened it up.

Demise Rule:
Until the end if the game is reached, you absolutely cannot escape.

"Well, if I can't escape this, this... I'll just have to play," She said. The blonde opened up the book and read the marked page.

Chapter 1

Midnight Man

"Midnight Man," she murmured. "I played that.. At a friends house at her birthday party.." A smile crept onto her face. "It didn't work, and I thought it never would. Old times coming back to haunt me, huh?"

While reading the instructions, Rose performed all the listed instructions until the game began.

How to Play:

First you must gather these things.
1) A large Candle
2) A piece of paper
3) A pen or pencil
4) A box of matches or a lighter
5) A container of salt
6) A needle or pin
7) A house with a wooden door

First, write your full name on the paper. Ex: Rose Scarlet Ayou.

Second, prick your finger and put one drop of blood on the paper. Allow it to soak in.

Third, turn off all lights in the house and stand in front of the door. The door must be wooden.

Fourth, place the paper in front of the door and light your candle. Place it ontop of the paper.

Fifth, at the stroke of midnight, knock on your door 22 times. You must finish knocking before 12:01

Sixth, open the door and blow out the candle.

Seventh, close the door and immediately relight the candle.

The Midnight Man is now in your house. The game has begun.
