Chapter thirteen

Desiree's POV

I sat in the front seat with our driver and my eyes filled with tears.

"Will he be mad that I left?" I asked whipping the tears away from my eyes

"He needs you there" Our driver replied

"Will he reject me?" I asked scared to hear the answer

"Listen the way he looks at you I know He won't" He replied

"Can we go back? Please" I begged needing to see Mark again

"Sure" He said and backed up going back on the road, We drove back and I got myself together, We pulled back into the road way and I felt my stomach drop with excitement and fear. I got out and walked with power to Mark who was standing among the other men, As I got closer he turned around and the look on his face I didn't know how to react good or bad? He turned back around to the Acton and I was kinda hurt but I need to understand I left him once I got hurt.

"Property will sell for 45,6300" One of the headmen announced

"Mark, your bid?" One of the men asked

"74,0000 even" He replied

"wow, can anyone oversee that?" a guy in the crowd called

"A bids a bid" Mark hissed at him

"Alright, anyone else?" The headmen asked

"Its not worth it" A guy said leaving with his manger

"Yeah" Three others complained and walked out.

"Going once, twice? sold to Mark Walberge" The guys sighed like this was always happinging

"Mark" I whispered to him and he turned to me

"Yes?" He asked

"I'm so sorry for leaving, I didn't mean for it to blow out of proportion" I apologized

"Listen there's nothing to be sorry about its fine" He replied

"No listen to me" I begged

"I am listening Desiree!" He said with frustration

"No your not! Your mad and I could tell!" I put my foot down

"Never leave again" He said with a straight face

"got-damn Desiree you scared the fuck out of me! I thought you were leaving for good! you can't play like that baby girl" He said and hugged me then gave me a passionate kiss.

"Fuck" He groaned then laughed

"Congrats" One of the guys said walking up to him

"thank you" Mark said unsure about this guy

"You and your lady here are very happy together" He nodded

"Thank you" Mark raised his eye brow

"Well anyway congrats again and good luck" He nodded and walked past us

"So now what?" I asked

"I have the night all planned out for us so lets get going to our first location" he said and kissed my forehead and smiled

"You have no idea how much you fucking scared me" he laughed and took my hand kissing it then slipped his other hand in his pocket

"baby I promise I will will never leave again" I replied and kissed him, he opened the car door for me and I hopped in with Mark right next to me.
