It was a late afternoon where the sunset began to set and there was yn who had just moved into her apartment in LA. Tired from moving in, after finally finishing university for 4 years, she decided to take a big step in moving to LA far away from home.
Lola: hey yn!
Yn: what's up?
Lola: why don't we take a break today huh?
Yn: ok your right-
Lola: perfect! now go get ready because we're gonna go to a barbecue party from my hood.
Yn: girl I'm super tired though-
Lola: look yn I get that your tired but believe me your gonna love the food besides you already know how bomb my moms food is!
Yn: ok ok, what time are we gonna leave?
Lola: 6, so you got about 10 minutes to get ready! Hehehe...

TRANSITION TO THEM PULLING UP
Lola: alrighty, (parks car) welcome to my crib
Yn: girl I can already smell your moms food!
Lola: see I told you, now let's go see my entire family... by the way if you feel uncomfortable at any given moment tell me and we will leave ok?
Yn: thanks Lola, but don't worry about me for now let's go inside to get some food!
ENTER THE HOUSE
Lola: familia I'm home!
Everyone begins to cheer and welcome back Lola
Lola: Also this is my friend yn
Yn is welcome with cheers and hugs
AT THE OTHER END OF THE LIVING ROOM
daniel: hey Oscar it looks like Lola is back in town!
Oscar: dang foo still can't believe she already graduated from university while we still live in the same place...

Oscar and Daniel laugh
Lola: OH also guys this is my best friend and college roommate yn
Daniel: nice to meet you yn

At that moment yn turns to Oscar who's already staring directly at her with a smirk on his face
Oscar: sup welcome to the family
Yn; thanks, can't wait to eat some food!
Oscar: same here, señora and señor Garcia told us to wait for you guys to pull up
Yn: omg I'm so sorry
Oscar: nah it's alright, besides it was worth the wait
Outside their conversation Lola and Daniel look at each other with a grin and whispering
Lola & Daniel: looks like Oscar has a crush!
AFTER A WHILE OF DRINKING AND PARTYING PEOPLE BEGIN TO LEAVE WHILE OTHERS ARE PASSED OUT
Lola: (in a drunk tone) YN YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU AND THINK OF YOU LIKE A BIG SISTER I NEVER HAD RIGHT!
Yn: (laughs it off) yes Lola, but right now go to sleep
Meanwhile with Oscar and Daniel
Daniel: (who's also drunk) DUDE! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE LOLA RIGHT! LIKE IM GONNA MARRY HER SOMEDAY FOO!
Oscar: (also laughing) ok cabron calm down bro cause I know you don't want Lola finding out just yet
Daniel: YOU RIGHT! (Knocks out immediately)
Afterwards Oscar goes out to the backyard to take a smoke near the bomb fire where he hears yn on a phone call
Yn: sí mama, estoy bien.....I love you too good night
Oscar: hey yn
Yn: omg you scared me
Oscar: sorry about that, where's Lola?
Yn: knocked out, Daniel?
Oscar: also out
Yn: then I guess it's just you and me huh?
Oscar: I guess so
THEN COMES IN LOLA'S MOM
LM: hey guys, since I saw you two outside I thought why don't you too make some s'mores hm
Yn & Oscar: oh thank you
Oscar: So yn what do you do for a living?
Yn: well right now I'm planning to work with Lola and her mom at the flower shop until there's a job opening at a bar for a singer position.
Oscar: ohhh you sing eh
Yn: yeah I didn't think I had it in me but apparently I do, so now I'm working on just that. What about you Oscar?
Oscar: oh well I think you can already tell by my clothes and tats that I'm a gang member right?
Yn: honestly I thought you just work at a car dealership or a mechanic
Oscar: dang look at you getting it right eh
Yn: what can I say I'm the oldest sibling and kinda know
Oscar & yn both laugh
Oscar: pretty sure whoever you've dated has been lucky to have you
Yn: we'll I can't say that for sure since I've always been single-
Oscar: WHAT! Nah your joking with me right?!
Yn: nope wish I was but that's the truth, I guess it's probably because of how I'm not that pre-
Oscar: don't say that
Yn: we'll if I'm being honest, that's basically the reason why because every guy I've liked has dated girls that are more prettier than me
Oscar: ok who's the fool the I got to beat up
Yn: (laughs) very funny
Oscar: (laughs but stops) see yn the way you just laughed it was cute and when you smile it's beautiful and when you talk to people you have a old soul that makes people wanting to admire you so much that maybe they just don't want to hurt you
Yn looks up to Oscar who's across from her, in slow motion both of their eyes lock staring at each other.
Yn: thank you Oscar (smiles at him)
Oscar: it needed to be said (smiles/smirks)
Yn: we'll it's getting late I'm gonna go sleep, good night Oscar
Oscar: good night and sweet dreams (still smiling and smirking)
While yn enters the house Oscar turns back to the bomb fire, closes his eyes, and while everything goes quiet...he could hear his heart pounding.
Looking from far away was señora Garcia looking at the window whispering: "oh my it's seems Oscar has his eyes set on her".
