Steven stared in absolute terror at the man in front of him. The man who had singlehandedly wiped the floor with (in his mind) the strongest people he knew. The man who somehow knew his name!
"Who... who are you? Why do you know my name? And why are you naked!?"-Steven
The man, instead of answering, turned in time to dodge Amethyst trying to spin dash towards him. Using his momentum he turned the dodge into a spinning kick, perfectly timing it to deliver his heel to Amethyst's jaw, causing her to fly back into Pearl, who had been trying to find an opening.
Pearl and Amethyst skidded across the sand, entangled together.
"Get off me Amethyst! I have to help Steven!" - Pearl
"I'm trying, maybe if you stopped getting in the way-"Amethyst was cut off by the man smashing both her and Pearl into the sand, causing them to both poof.
"Amethyst! Pearl!" -Steven cried.
The man started to turn back towards Steven, when he noticed Amethyst and Pearls gem falling onto the sand. He froze, feeling the beginnings of another headache coming on. Before he could try and get away so he wouldn't be in an vulnerable position, Garnet smashed her gauntlet into the back of his skull, and everything went dark.

[Steven's pov]
I sighed in relief, realizing that man was out cold. Garnet unsummoned her gauntlets and gently picked up Amethyst and Pearls gems. Lion had since made it back to the beach, licking Steven's cheek.
"I'm glad your okay too, buddy."-Steven said as he hugged Lions mane. He then turned to Garnet as Connie and her mom made their way towards them.
"They're alright Steven, they just need to reform." Garnet
"I know, I just.. do you know who this guy is? Or.. what he is?"- Steven
"No.. I've never seen anything like him, and for some reason I couldn't see him with my future vision... "- Garnet
Mrs. M turned to her daughter, checking for injuries. "I-I know I said I'd be more supportive of your.. magical adventures Connie, but are you sure you'll be safe?"- Mrs. M
"Yeah mom, I'm sure."- Connie
Mrs. M sighed and turned to look back at Steven and Garnet, giving them such an intense look that even Garnet had to repress a shiver.
"Make sure she's safe."-Mrs. M
"We will."- Garnet said while Steven nodded quickly. The Maheswaran's left{so annoying} leaving Steven and Garnet to wonder what to do with the man.

"Why arent you at your post, you pebbles"-???
Three rubies stiffened in fear as they looked up at the larger gem who had caught them unawares while lost in a forest, completely terrified. They might be shattered in the next few seconds of they aren't careful.
" We..we got lost Jasper." Ruby 1 stammered.
"It was an accident, we had noticed a weird noise and had decided to investigate, in case there was an intruder" Ruby 2 added.
"We're really sorry"Ruby 3 apologized.
Jasper growled and pinched her gem nose."Let me get this straight, you got lost from an STATIONARY POST, because you imagined some scary noise, not only leaving your task undefended, and didn't even find your imaginary intruder?"
