I now am waiting outside the examination building, it's surrounded by a metal fence. Impossible to get out of, I tried. There's only four of us. They say it is because we are unsafe. Is it because I fought back? Because I can use a weapon? Perhaps they think I will fight them and to be honest I might. They took away my sister and now me. What will my family think when I don't come home, the way my sister didn't.
I examine the other three. Two boys and another girl. The girl has big blue eyes and waist length golden hair. She looks innocent. Maybe we are all here for different reasons.
One of the boys, who's in front of me, has black eyes and black hair. He looks like someone you wouldn't want to mess with. He must be here for the same reason as me.
Finally there in the last boy. He is stood to the right of me. Like me he has the messy brown hair and green eyes. His hair has been jelled up into a quiff, yet still a few strands are out of place. I have no idea what he could have done but I guess I don't look like I would fight back.
We hear a loud sound, like a drill but louder. A orange helicopter flies down from no where. About a meter away from us it lands and the instructors tell us to get in. I sit down, trapped between the blonde girl and the brown haired boy.
"Do you know where we're going?" He says to us.
"No." The girl and I answer in unison. for the rest of the journey we stay silent. We think about never seeing our family's and how much it hurts. Unlike everybody else it looks like we won't have the memory loss serum planted in to us. I wish we did. I wish I forgot everything and I wouldn't remember the loss of everybody I love. After about twenty minutes, blinds slide down and cover the windows. Maybe we won't even be able to know where we are going.
"So," shouts a brunet woman sat next to the pilot. "You are here because you are a danger to our country and your city. We are going to a 'boot camp' along with other children from the country's different cities. You will be trained until you can be used in our army then we will let you go an set up a new life serving your country."
She makes it sound like a fair deal. Like it's everyone's dream to be taken from their family's and sent to fight in the army. I look at the other three to see their reactions. The tough looking boy looks pleased with himself. Maybe it was his dream to fight in the army, just like it's Hunter's dream job. I feel a pang in my heart as I think of him.
The girl on the other hand is crying, using actual tears. She sniffles, this can't be someone that fought back in the test.
Finally I check the brunet boy. His face is clear of emotion. He looks almost board. I choose to try and imitate his expression.
We wait like this for what seems like for ever then we seem to land. When we get out of the helicopter we are in a room. Just like in the examination room, everything is a navy blue.
"We are underground." says the brunette woman, answering everyone's questions. "Welcome."
