I sat in the doctors office swinging my feet while on the little bed as i waited for the doctor to walk in
" sorry it took me so long ... aeja" the older black women said as she walked in
"it's fine" i said with a small smile as i continued to swing my feet and put my attention on her
"My name is Dr. Brown and we're just going to do a little check up today.. make sure everything is going right and then i'll be out your way okay?" she stated
"yes ma'am"

"everything seems to be well" she said with a smile and I hopped off the bed
I waddled to the front desk so I could pay the 118$ for this stupid checkup
After paying I walked to my car and fastened my seatbelt so I could finally go to the mall which i been waiting to go to since yesterday
I drived down the street and finally turned into the parking lot parking my car close to the entrance. I hopped out and noticed how packed it was in here which wasn't shocking since it was Saturday
I walked inside and immediately went to Ulta because I needed more foundation. I went to the isle with the Fenty Beauty products and grabbed my foundation
"hey, sorry to interrupt you girl but what foundation shade are you.. we seem to be the same color and idk what color to get" this really pretty girl said, she was the same shade as me and she was extremely pretty
"you good girl, i get shade 370" i said showing her the tube
She smiled at me before grabbing the foundation, "what's ur name?" she asked
"Aeja, how about you?" i asked with a smile
"Taliyah, but most people call me tia, i'm sorry to come off so strong I just moved here and I don't really have any friends or anything, I've been having a hard time meeting people" she said with a sigh, I could tell she was nervous she was fidgeting with the foundation in her hand, opening and closing it and she was having a hard time keeping eye contact with me
"I completely understand girl, what's ur number?" I usually don't give out my information this easily but she seemed genuine and I honestly had interest in making new friends aswell
She put her number in her phone and then texted herself and we saved each others number before hugging one another and walking away. We just met but it feels like we've known each other for years, like we met in another lifetime already
