𝐚𝐞𝐣𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐞 ★

I walked out the hair shop and towards my car feeling relived my day was finally over. I had hella clients today and it felt like everybody hair was taking forever

I opened my door plopping into the drivers seat and putting my seatbelt on. I was honestly so ready to go home. I looked on Apple Music searching for something but to play as i started my journey home.

I turned on 'Luv' By Tory Lanez before driving out the parking lot.

Pulling into the parking garage I looked over seeing Jamari's car causing me to raise an eyebrow. I honestly didn't expect him to be here. He got a key to my place recently just because I felt like he was over here alll the time if i wasn't at his place

I unlocked my door walking in to a pitch black house besides the mini candles on my floor. I looked down at them seeing the pink and red rose petals leading down the hall.. I wondered down the long hallway as the petals led me to my bedroom door.. I slowly walked in honestly not knowing what to expect

"Jamari..." i said lowly as i walked in my room looking at the "will you be my girlfriend" in balloons above my bed which was also covered in petals, chick-fil-a, and gifts.

Jamari stood beside the bed looking at me. I stood there silently. I didn't know what to say.. I jus recently broke up with Marquise and although me and Jamari had been going great and already acting as a couple I didn't know if Iwas ready

"you don't have to give me an immediate answer Aeja" He reassured me, He looked at me with the most innocent eyes as I looked from the bed to him

"i have an answer.." i said lowly, I was lying. I didn't know what to say.. I didn't want to say no but was i ready for a relationship? Was i going to be able to love him properly knowing my past ?

"I want to say yes, but I don't want to love you improperly because of my past .. I don't want that to get in the way" i said truthfully avoiding eye contact with him.

"i understand, but i'm able to be patient with you and work with you through it all" he said causing my heart to flutter

"then yes ofc i'll be your girlfriend" i said. A smile grew onto Jamaris face as he walked towards me pulling me into a warm hug

onto a new chapter.. time to leave Marquise in the past and focus on my future ...

" this that shit i be talking bout" I laughed as i plopped my body down on my hbs couch, grabbing the blunt afterwards

"idk why u so pressed dude" trxll huffed looking over at me as he took a pull from the other blunt that they had in rotation.

"because, how tf she gon jus move on and get a new nigga" i mugged looking at the no face no case picture of Aeja and her mystery man

"nigga you cheated and lied to that girl, you ain't gaf abt her then idk why u care now" he added as he passed the blunt to bean as jai laughed.

" My nigga sad over a girl he ain't do nun but treat horribly" jai laughed causing me to mug him. Niggas think they got jokes

"idgaf what i did, i love that girl" I argued smacking my teeth passing my blunt over.

"nah, u didn't... she did nun but try to love you correctly you wanted to be "cool" and "future" so bad" Jai argued getting irritated with me, but ian gaf

"damn you want her assum?" i asked sitting up from leaning back on the couch

"nah but she coo people's and ik she tried her hardest witchu, and if i did want her.. so what?" Jai chuckled as he pulled from the blunt again
