"So basically, you did treated her 'THAT BAD'? AND JAEMIN WAS THE MAIN ISSUES?! FOR FUCK SAKE JIMIN-AH, DO YOU KNOW HOW RIDICULOUS IT SOUNDS TO ME RIGHT NOW?! THAT BASTARD DIDN'T EVEN DESERVED TO BE FIGHT FOR! BESIDES, HOW THE FUCK NON OF YOU GUYS TOLD ME ABOUT THIS?!!"

Here we are, seeing how disappointed Aeri towards Karina's confession. It's pretty understandable of Aeri to be THIS upset. Indeed it was, embarrassing. Karina totally admit that it was awfully petty of her to be that shady, with a context that all of these simply caused by her envious. But tbh, Jaemin was just one of many alibies of her. Wanna know why specifically she did that? Okay, let me explain it to you.

1st, the girl smh snatched her throne in their society : All human being at Kwangya knew how hard worker Karina could be. She was always been pretty ambitious and cunning when it comes to protect her self on the top. From such an early age she learned in the hard way that nobody can change your life, except you work on it. If she wants something? She would made sure that it belongs to her. Karina has her own tactics to kept her scores to be higher enough for her scholarship and maintain her accomplishment in taekwondo (which, she actually good at). She likes being on the spotlight, and seems like her admires loved it for her too. When she thinks that she might failed, she won't tolerate it. Instead of letting that happen, she can became a little bit rotten. She might just easily manipulated someone to did all the 'dirty work' so she shouldn't had to. It was went really well, until the day when Kim Minjeong came into their class. Out from nothing, the new chick managed to robbed her 'crown' as the cleverest student in their era. Throwned Karina, to be the second in the whole school. Since then, Karina thought that she finally met her true rival. And she, didn't adored it.

2nd, Of course... the quirky cutie 'unknowingly' took her boy toy : Karina knew all along that Jaemin had always been the playboy to begin with. Like, who she was tried to be kidding off exactly? When they were still together, he constantly kept cheating on her with his other exes, flirts with any girls he found them cute, slept around whenever he got chances. Yet, why she stayed for so long? Well, her economic situation leads her towards him. And let's just called that, their 'couple goals' thingy was in fact more likely... only as a business contract. He has a power, but if i could say more correctly, his father does. He's the son of Na Goong Min, the Busan's youngest mayor that ever existed. Realized that she could used the momento', she dared him to the deal first. Being the natural kittenish, Jaemin accepted it afterwards. Both of them saw the mutualism symbiosis that could benefited them. Need example? Being around him sends her to go to those 'global' level kind of schools, the mayor himself even paid for her academy courses. And all she gotta do was just by helped Jaemin back... so he would never fucked up his grades, and his father's reputation. Good thing, wasn't it tho? But then again... soon after Minjeong's name rises, Jaemin slow but surely started to got developed his interest to that 'next dream girl'. Karina saw it quickly, warned Jaemin of their agreement. Suddenly, he asked to end their relationship with his 'i think you deserves better' kind of excuse. Obviously... Karina won't believe it either. They never fought before, and these argument became their first-to-last experienced of 'dating' they only had ever since. 7 days after their broke up, Karina noticed that he started to courted Minjeong. Hell, he even joined the student council willingly so he could got Minjeong's attention. During all her life knowing who Jaemin was, Karina never had seen Jaemin put his determination as much for anyone else, includes her. It counts as another memo of Karina to disliked the girl even more. She still had another lists to come up with.

3rd, Minjeong got so much appreciation and being loved by their teachers : Aside from being contended to each other (welp, technically only Karina who thinks at that way), both of them actually won several competitions separately for the school. From Karina, she won Yeongnam region taekwondo championship under 46kg and got the third position in Busan classical music contest with youth level category in piano, while Minjeong (as like i said before) won the national level math competition quiz and became one of the SK deputation for participated in WSDC. By those datums, although that these two were known to be the prime students, equally keen-witted, but... they had a totally different persona. The teachers seems to prefered Minjeong more than Karina. Maybe because Minjeong never declined the teacher's request to assisted their assignments. While Karina think, it was just wasted for her time. Minjeong was also couldn't stand it to watched when some students did the inferior kind of behavior. There was one day when Minjeong caught Ryujin and Lia red-handed trying to buy the answer key for their calculus test from another student named Lee Chaemin (who used to fancy Karina, but Karina never bother to appreciated him whatsoever), and Minjeong indiscriminately reported this to the teacher who taught that subject. Then as the result? Both of them received a detention for five hours plus they got forced to made a statement that they will never cheat on their test ever again, in front of all students at the cafeteria. Even for someone who usually didn't give any f to her surroundings, at some point... What Minjeong did against Karina's patience rate limits. So, Karina did what she thought... was right for her.

However, now she deplore the things that she had been done to that girl. 40% for the guilts, 60% for the side effect that struck her career negatively. Following the confrontation event several minutes ago, now Karina do not have any clue for what will happen on next. She feel stuck, loosing her confidence, hopeless, and can not defend her self nor want to keep the plea anymore.

"I know, i know! And that's why, i must find her. But all the things that i got for now... only the fact that she got expelled"

"You say WHAT?!"

Karina closed her eyes, her forehead get furrowed. Thinking what are the best words to depict Minjeong's condition that she knows so far.

"You're not deaf, and yeah... She didn't get her degree in Kwangya, unfortunately"

Aeri got dumbfounded, this is too shocking for her, even Karina still doesn't believe it too.

"Urgh gosh... okay... now, what are you gonna do then? Do you even know where she is?"

Sighing while lowering her head, Karina decided to spill what she knew.

"To be honest, I'm still having a hard time finding any other info about her but my manager said... She's currently undergoing mental recovery. And i know where she goes for that"

Hearing that, Aeri immediately stood up and came out of the toilet. Not forgetting that he also paid for the food they bought earlier, thens he returned to the toilet and pulled Karina out of the restaurant. Causing Karina to wondering.

"Wait, what are you doing?? where are you taking me???"

Aeri stopped walking, not facing Karina who was behind her. Here, Aeri has decided about something.

"We're going back to the hotel, you need a rest. And we will try to find Minjeong again, tomorrow"

Karina's forehead scrunched, her two eyes blinked rapidly with her still clueless expression.

"No, no, Aeri-yah... I'll do it myself, you don't need to get involved in this-"

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STOPPING ME, YOU CUNT. SHUT UP AND JUST LET ME HELP YOU... GOT IT?!"

"But i-"

"No more BUTS! Just do what i told you to do, because you need more energy to face another potential disappointments. You better clean your self and sleep. I'll take care of you"

Karina's eyes suddenly got a sweat dropped to her cheek. She wonder why she cry rn, but all she sure of is... she never doubting Aeri. She can feel assurance from her best friend.

"I- Thank you, Giselle... really"

"Yah, what's up by calling me with my english name out of sudden?

Karina smiled, timidly... Uchinaga Aeri, is the one of kind human she ever discovered.
