Obanai talks to Aurora

The beautiful girl walked towards him.
"H-hi," she said shakily.
He didn't say anything back.
She reached out her hand hesitantly. Obanai could tell that this was a big thing for her, since she struck him as the nervous type. He wanted to reach out to her. But couldn't. He just stood there, frozen.
"O-oh..ok," she said, and slowly withdrew her hand. She looked sad. He wanted to apologize. Throw himself at her feet and grovel and beg for forgiveness. But he couldn't. He couldn't move.
"I'm Aurora," she said nervously. "The Deer Hashira."
He couldn't say anything. He'd never felt this way before. What do I do? He thought. Then one word came to his mind.
Run.
So he did.
He ran out of the building.
He heard Mitsuri and Rengoku call his name, but he didn't stop. He kept running.
Away from them.
Away from his feelings.
Away from her.
