Chapter 10: The Message

I was sleeping in the dark hospital room. Not dreaming a bit. There was a loud bang that had awaken me. When I had awaken, I saw that it was just a nurse passing by. It was eight at night right now and my mother left to go take Kate home.

Now that I was fully awaken, I could not sleep anymore. No use in turning the tv on. The nurses would yell at me. "Aqua..... marine....." A faint creepy voice said.

"Who. Who is there?" I replied.

"Aqua..... marine....."

"Who ever is there, you you do not wanna mess with me." Right before the bed appeared a person. More like a hologram. "A message for Aquamarine. You will be stopped. You will die a painfull and slow death. Your powers will not be able to stop us. We are stronger and smarter. You will lose. All of you will lose." It said.

"Hey honey you awake?" Someone said. When I looked backed to where the hologram was, it had vanished. I had a worried look on my face.

"What's wrong Aqua? You have a super worried look. What had happened?" It was mother.

"The the council. They sent me a message. They said we will all die and they cannot be defeated. We would all die." I replied. Her eyes went wide.

"I must inform your grandmother." She said.

"Why must you inform her?"

"Because she is one of the Elders. The main one actually. She is the head of everything that is pure and good. We will have a meeting today. As soon as I take both your sister and you, we go to the meeting place."

She took out her phone and dialed. After a few moments she answered, "Hi mother. Call a meeting for today. This is very important. Very. I will explain when I see you... Yes mother... They are ok... I love you see you soon." She hung up her phone and sat down next to me. She had her giant purse that she used when we snuck candy and stuff into the movie theater. "We will be going at sunset to the confrence." She said.

"Ok. Well, why do you have the purse we use for the theaters? You never use that purse for something other than the movies." I asked curiously.

"Oh. I. Well I brought some things that would heal your injuries. A mirror charged with a blue moon's energy, green candle, white candle, elder berry, and white willow. I just did it to Hannah while she slept. her injuries are gone but they will still seem to be there so the doctors dont freak." She replied. She grabbed my broken arm and un-bandaged it, "Which side hurts the most?"

"Top part." I replied.

She grabbed the mirror and it glowed a blue. She ran it over my wrist without actually touching it. My arm began to tingle a bit, then a lot. She then lit the green and white candle, putting them aside she put what looked like jelly which must've been the elder berries. After putting wood shavings which was the white willow, on the elder berries, the green and white candle burned up enough wax. Pouring green wax over the herbs, I grinded my teeth due to the heat. After pouring white wax over the green, the heat turned into coolness. All the stuff turned invisible and she did the mirror again but doing it opposite of the way she did last time. She then did it over my chest and my leg. There was no more pain. Not one bit.

For the rest of the night we talked mother to daughter stuff. When it hit sunrise, she went and checked on Hannah real quick to see if she was awake. Even though she was like a goth since she is like perky now, she likes to get up with the sun.
