Dry Out POV

I've never really been that much of a social butterfly. It's always awkward when I talk to the other levels. Even my own brother, and I'm the reason he's not permanently frozen. I just sit around most of the day, waiting for my brother to be melted out of his ice prison. The new guys seem pretty cool. I doubt I'll interact with them though. It's just that I haven't really been able to move a lot. Maybe Polargeist has advice. But for now, he's stuck in an ice cube. I hear footsteps and see a demon walk in.

DO: Yo!

Clubstep: I don't think we've met yet. Have we?

DO: I've heard about you from Stereo Madness. Just leave me alone for now.

Clubstep: Oh. I'm sorry. I'll be on my way then.

Man! I've gotta stop rejecting them when they want to interact with me. What the heck is wrong with my stupid brain!?

(A time skip cause I'm lazy)

Finally! He's free!

DO: Hey, Polargeist. Wake up!

No response.

DO: P-P-Polargeist?

I took one good look at him and realized he wasn't breathing. I don't know CPR, and the others can't touch him because their hands will freeze. I immediately lifted him up and rushed out the door and straight to the hospital.

Fade: Hey! Don't blame me for your laziness!

Me: Shut up!

The others arrived shortly after. Things are not looking good. The doctors bring me to see him. I sat by him, and he awoke for a few seconds.

Polargeist: Don't forget, that I'll always be with you.

His heartbeat stopped. I immediately started to cry. No tears came because they would immediately evaporate. I didn't know what to do. Sure, we were awkward with each other, but he was the only one that understood me. My heart felt like a hole was punched through it, and it could never be healed. I stayed in my room the rest of the day. This is the worst day of my life.

Fade: Snff Snff.

Me: Dude. Are you crying?

Fade: No! I'm not crying! You're crying!

Me: Whatever man.
