Chapter 3

Pearl was pacing around the room as Amethyst played on Steven's old PlayStation

"He isn't back yet what if something happened to him!?"

Pearl was freaking out to say the least. She was pacing around for over an hour now, watching the time

"Come on Pearl chillax! Steven got this. It's not the first time that he goes to hunt Corrupted Gems with Connie. Also, they have Bismuth with them, so they are pretty safe. So sit down, relax and let Steven do his thing!"

Amethyst hummed please das Peal sat down, before Garnet entered the room, yet as she was about to say something they were interrupted by the ground shaking. Again. And again. And again. Something Big was outside.

As the Crystal Gems ran outside to see what was this all about, they all let out Gasps, as they saw the giant Figure of Green Diamond, walking towards Beach City.

"What the heck is that?!"

Amethyst shouted, as Pearl mumbled something

"It's a...Diamond? Wait no..They are...Fused?? Two Diamonds??"

They then saw Steven running towards them, as they ran towards him

"Steven what is the meaning of this?! What is that!"

Pearl screeched, pointing at the Giant standing on the beach.

"Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, meet the Diamonds! Me and Connie found them in a Cave not too far from here. They must have been here for a long time! I really want to help them!"

As the talked Connie joined them as the Diamond crouched down, so they wouldn't be that gigantic.

Amethyst stared at the fusion, her Gem glowing as she shrunk, as a Demonstration for the Fusion to follow her. They were trying to get smaller so they wouldn't draw so much attention to them.

After many attempts they finally grew the size of Garnet, as Amethyst smiled at them, holding a thumb up, as Green just tilted their head in confusion, yet as Amethyst tried to speak Green also held a thumb up, smiling at the Gem.

After chuckling, they finally entered the temple, as the other people stared at Green, as they stood in the doorframe, before Garnet stood up, catching Green's interest.

"Try to unfuse. That way it's easier to stay small like this"

But Green just Stared at Garnet, before they tried to speak. They closed their mouth again as no sound came out, not even a squeak. This got Garnet an idea as she Unfused infront of the Diamonds.

"Here like this!"

Ruby exclaimed, as Sapphire smiled. But the smile soon faded as Green tried to unfuse, only to struggle. They could see the diamonds to escape each others grasp, but getting fused again, as they tried again.

"They.. they were forced to fuse... they fused as they erupted from the ground..they can't unfuse.."

Sapphire explained, as they fused back to Garnet to get a better look at the Diamonds.

"In the cave I heard them say 'white' and 'bad' so maybe it has something to do with white! They wouldn't call her bad if nothing happened!"

Pearl looked at the Diamonds, trying to remember anything when she still was with the diamonds but she can't remember anything about these two, so even Pearl couldn't help

"Why don't we just contact the diamonds?? I mean they are apparently the only beings who know about this fusion"
