Minho’s POV
“Hey, Yn! Get ready—we’re going out,” I called out from the living room, watching her poke her head around the corner with wide, tired eyes.
The moment she heard me, she gasped and practically bolted into the bedroom, nearly tripping over the rug in the process. I couldn't help but chuckle at how adorably clumsy she was.
Yn had been buried in her studies for weeks now—long nights, early mornings, barely eating, barely sleeping. I’d lost count of how many times I caught her passed out on her desk, textbooks open and highlighters in her hand. It was taking a toll on her, and as her boyfriend, I couldn’t just stand by.
So, I decided to take her out for the evening—no books, no deadlines, just peace. Just us.

Time Skip
A few minutes later, she came downstairs, adjusting the hem of her top and smoothing out her hair.
She looked… breathtaking.
She wore a soft-colored outfit that made her look like springtime personified—simple, cute, and effortlessly beautiful. Her cheeks were flushed slightly, probably from rushing, and her eyes sparkled under the warm lights of the hallway.
She gave me a small smile. “Come on, let’s go!” she said, locking the door behind us as we stepped outside.
We passed by our car parked in the driveway.
“Wait, aren’t we taking the car?” she asked, glancing at me with curiosity.
“Nope. It’s a surprise, bun,” I said with a grin, reaching over to gently pinch her nose, making her squeak and swat my hand away with a playful pout.

The two of us walked side by side along the quiet sidewalks. The world seemed to have slowed down just for us. The street lamps cast soft glows on the pavement, and the rustling of the trees above created a rhythm we didn’t know we needed.
I realized then—it had been too long since we’d had a moment like this. No screens, no distractions, no constant rush of life pushing us around.
Just peace.
Just her.
I glanced at Yn, and she seemed lost in thought, probably trying to guess where we were going. Her brows were furrowed just the slightest, her lips pressed together in a curious pout. I smiled to myself and gently squeezed her hand, giving her no answers.
Eventually, we reached the edge of a small park—one we used to visit often when we first started dating. It had changed a little, but the essence was still there.
I led her past the usual paths and deeper into the inner part of the park, where fewer people ever went. It was our secret spot, one we'd stumbled upon during a late-night walk a year ago. A wide patch of grass surrounded by tall trees that swayed gently in the wind, dim fairy lights tangled in their branches from some forgotten event still glimmering faintly.
I dropped down onto the grass and patted the spot next to me. “Come sit.”
She followed and sat beside me, her head tilting slightly as she looked around.
“It’s beautiful, right?” I asked, turning my gaze up toward the open sky.
She followed my line of sight—and when I looked back at her, her eyes were wide in awe, lips parted slightly. The stars were scattered across the night sky, gleaming like diamonds, and the moon cast a silver glow over everything.
A breeze rolled through, sending a light chill through the air and making both our hair dance. She shivered lightly, and I instinctively wrapped my arm around her, pulling her closer.
For a while, we didn’t speak.
We just sat there, listening to the wind, the distant chirping of crickets, and the sound of each other’s breathing.
Then I felt it—her head softly resting on my shoulder.
I looked down to see her eyes fluttering closed, her breathing slow and steady. She had fallen asleep, her body relaxed against mine.
And then, like a whisper carried by the wind, I heard her mumble softly, almost as if speaking in a dream.
“I love you, Minho…”
My heart felt full. I tightened my arm around her, pressing a light kiss to her temple. “I love you too, baby. So much.”

That night under the stars, with the world quiet and our hearts finally resting, became a memory neither of us would forget.
It wasn’t just a break from the chaos.
It was a reminder.Of love.
Of peace.
Of us.
