Myself

I see a girl who never stopped running

From herself and who she is

I see a girl who smiles and hides the pain

The pain of not knowing

I see a girl whose eyes are still searching

Searching, for the star to guide her soulI see a girl who wants to try

To try and build the confidence that's dwindling

I see a girl who will do it all

Just to make it seem she stands tall

I see a girl who hides her secrets

The secrets never shared

Even with those who really care

What they'll never understand

Not everyones life is grand

This is who I am

One day I will stand tall

Be myself and who i'm meant to be

One day i'll do it all

You'll just never see me coming!
