Ram and Priya have separated for 5 years... Ram is a cold business man because he lost his love and all that, Priya lived in NYC, she became an author for the bestseller trilogy she's working on, she also helps Krish in his PI work, basically that detective stuff because our girl is smart. Nandini and shubham have gone to Gujarat for Isha's wedding (Isha is Ram's stepcousin), while Nandini left Vedika back at Kapoor Mansion. Ram doesn't like Vedika, but is stuck with her.
He overhears Sandy's call with Priya who is coming back as Zoya, Krish's girlfriend and Priya's bestfriend, had her work transfer in mumbai which gives Krish the perfect opportunity for case he is trying to solve which also deals in the same place, having some connection to Shashi.
Arjun is Priya's 4 year old adopted son that she loves more than anything, his backstory is for later on...
And Jay... he is a character who still yet to be fully introduced, but he is Arjun's father.
Shivi is alive and where she is with Akshay is also yet to be revealed.
Zo, Zoya... bought the old tuition place under Ram's office as a gift for the two. Because of which now, Ram and Priya face each other everyday.
Ram and Arjun met at the mall, while they split up a cupcake, and the man was intrigued by the boy.
Ram thinks of Priya way too much that he sometimes can hear her talking to him, I did not want that to be put in a wrong way like Ram is mentally unstable, but it's just that he misses her too much.
