in that moment sariah's expression turned into realization. she had figured out where she had seen ariannah before. and just as she was about to speak she was interrupted by the bell signifying that lunch had ended.
as they were on their way back to their classes ariannah sensed that sariah was walking up behind her so she began to walk even faster trying to ignore her. she heard the footsteps get louder and louder and then felt something gently grab her wrist.
"hey ariannah, i remember you! i saw you that one time in barnes & noble, in the manga section!" she told her. ariannah didn't know what to do. she was so nervous because she was finally interacting with the girl that had been on her mind 24/7.
there was a moment of awkward silence where they just stood staring at each other. sariah wanted to ask ariannah is she was ok but she didn't know how she would react, she already seemed nervous enough.
"sariah we are going to be late for class hurry up!" morgan yelled. "ok ok i'm coming damn." sariah walked back to class but kept looking back at ariannah to make sure she was ok.
carmen and lilianna were now walking back to class and saw ariannah frozen there in shock and walked up to her. "are you ok ariannah?" carmen asked. "you look really pale, do you need to sit down?" lilianna added.
