POV you and your husband Hobie go on about life. But today is Different...(you can use any name but I'm using Dani and finn)

"Honey can you go get the kids? Lunch is ready." I say with a warm smile. "Sure thing
Sweetheart. There in the playroom right?" Hobie says with a slight grin, I nod and start setting the table. After a while I hear multiple footsteps Rush to the dining room. I see my only child, Dani. Personality and hair of her dad, Eyes and structure from me. Then I see my second child, Finn... They both mostly take after there father.

"Ready to eat? I made Steak, broccoli, green beans and mashed potatoes." I gesture for them to sit down.

The kids Scurry back upstairs to do god knows what, and I'm let alone with Hobie. "Any plans?" He suddenly broke the silence. I look at him like he's a cosplayer in a court room. "I don't have time for plans?" I say with a 'are you serious' face. "We can make time, love" Darn his accent. "How? We can't drop off the kids and they are to young to be alone" he looks like hes thinking of something. He speaks up "how about-", "And don't say let's drop them with Gwen and Miles" I cut his sentence off "they have responsibilities to Hobie." I get a little irritated at the idea. "But we never get time alone..Can't we drop them at the McDonald's play area for a bit?" Hobie says with a fake pout. "Woah ok. You want are kids to be left ALONE at a McDonald's-", "Let's have a date at McDonald's, love." Before I even finished my sentence he came up with a sly response.. Bastard.. "Sounds fine.... But you're paying, I'll get ready" I kiss Hobie on his forehead and walk upstairs.

We dropped the kids off in the play area, we sat fairly close so we can monitor them. "So.." Hobie looks at me with a smug smile. "So?" I replie with a hint of sarcasm. "Anything you wanna talk about luv? Like...Work? Or your hobbies" he looks at me with a encouraging smile, "well Im this close to catching that spiderman-" I pause to calm down a bit. Then I continue "he makes me soooo- SO angry! He makes us police seem terrible because he has powers! Not to mention he's an antihero" as I rant Hobie looks a bit nervous. "You ok bubs?" I ask with a concerned look. "Y-yeah I'm fine luv, um- well what if Spider-Man is trying his best? And- and trying to make a difference" he looks nervous. "Are you taking his side? he antagonizes people, Political actions not to mention He doesn't say in the law, Hobie" my tone becomes more sturn. "Look if I don't catch him I can't become chef of police. And the extra money would help." I feel Hobie tense a bit "are you sure your ok?" I ask again. "Change of topic! Um- what are we gonna do for Dani's birthday? She said she wanted a Cat!" I was caught off guard by the sudden change of subject but I complied. "Well we gotta see if she's responsible first. I'm not going to be taking care of it." I say in a fun tone "Don't worry luv I'll help take care of the poor thing!" He seems excited about getting a cat. Even though he's almost never home "well if you insist... I don't mind, bubs"

⁠∀ after the two talked for a bit they decided to head home so they had gathered the children and walked home ⁠∀

"Hey it's almost 8 can you put the kids to bed?" I look to Hobie for an answer "it's early, they are NOT gonna be happy about that luv" he looks at me with the 'i don't wanna' face. I smirk "that's why I asked you to do it, your the fun parent." He sighs and go's upstairs.
after like 5 minutes he comes back "there. I put them to bed. But they weren't happy", "thank you bubs" I give him a quick kiss but when I pulled away I felt his hands on my hips pulling me in closer. I look up into his eyes, I see his dark pupils full of lust. Before either of us can speak I get a call....
