CHAPTER 7

ALASKA'S POV

I didn't know how I didn't feel traumatized by the kidnapping but I was glad I wasn't traumatized. Lucy freaked out when I told her about the kidnapping and she asked me if I could come back to L.A and I told her no because I couldn't leave my newly found family. Life was very interesting and the boys started teaching me how to fight and how to use different weapons. I planned on going back to L.A in less than a month and at first dad was reluctant to let me go but he gave in eventually.

Ralph mentioned something about a meeting with an important business partner both legally and illegally. I was curious about who it was so I tiptoed to dad's office and peeked through the slightly open door. Everyone except Albert, Alfred and Tristan were in the meeting. I couldn't see the so called business partner clearly, he looked very familiar but I couldn't pinpoint where. I suddenly heard a bark behind me and I freaked out and fell face flat on the floor of my dad's office.

"Alaska what are you doing here" my dad asked and the boys looked like they wanted to burst out laughing. And when I turned to look at the stranger my world stopped. "you" I yelled in shock.

"yes me" he replied looking amused.

"umm do you guys know each other" dad asked looking confused and I nodded.

"this is Kairo King the leader of the English mafia and CEO of King hotels and resorts" dad said and I realized that I was still on the floor and I immediately stood up.

"how do you guys even know each other" Adrik questioned.

"we don't, I helped her get rid of a pervert that's all" he said leaning back into his chair and I rolled my eyes before walking out of dad's office.

An hour later the meeting was over and I had been daydreaming about Kairo the whole time but I couldn't care less because the guy is hot. The male population in my house are severely over-protective and I was sure they were going to ask questions about Kairo. The moment I got downstairs for dinner they watched my every move like hawks and I cleared my throat before saying "just ask your questions"

"how did you meet"

"who is he to you"

"stay away from him he's very dangerous"

"he's not good for you" they fired at me and I rolled my eyes.

"he got rid of the guy who harassed me at the ball and also it's none of your businesses if I have something going on with him" I said.

"he will hurt you" papa said.

"papa you make it sound like I have something going on with him" I asked.

"just warning you so that you don't get your heart broken" papa said.

"all of you should behave yourselves and don't harass my baby again" mom said.

"thanks mom you're the best" I said with a huge grin on my face and the boys weren't pleased at all.

"mama we shouldn't let her date before she's 30" Rome whined and I rolled my eyes in frustration.

"whoever I date is nobody's business" I said looking at everyone.

"don't come to us when you get heartbroken" Damian said and they all continued eating.

My infatuation with Kairo would die down very soon because I couldn't handle commitment and also he would probably be my 76th crush this year.

I have to admit he's the hottest out of all the men I've crushed on this year and I felt something deeper than what I had for all my other crushes.
