As we sat in the peaceful park, enjoying the warm weather, I noticed my companion yawning and slipping into a more childlike state. I reassured her with a gentle reminder to hold on for a few more minutes. She nodded in agreement, her innocent gaze taking in the beauty of our surroundings. We relaxed a bit longer before heading back home.
However, our peaceful moment was interrupted by a loud noise, causing me to instinctively protect my companion and hold her closer. She asked in a worried tone what it was, and I replied that I didn't know. We picked up our pace, but the sound of footsteps behind us made us both feel like we were being followed.
Just as we were about to reach safety, a figure in black appeared in front of us, causing us both to scream in fear. But instead of harming us, the person was thrown back by another individual who stood in front of us to protect us. I quickly offered our bag, not wanting any trouble.
But the second person assured us that he meant no harm and that we were in danger. He asked us to trust him and come with him for our safety. As I looked into his eyes, I felt a sense of trust and followed him, carrying my companion in my arms.
