Michael and Calum got to know each other better as the years went by and eventually began to see each other more and more after work as their relationship grew stronger.
Calum ended up getting fired from Starbucks by calling in sick when really, he snuck over to Paws 'n' Claws to see Calum, even though it only happened once. As a result of being fired, Calum couldn't pay his bills and had no choice but to move out of his house.
After that, Michael immediately took Calum under his wing. Calum packed his belongings and moved in with Michael. Since nobody had adopted Paws, Michael and Calum kept her as a pet.
The fact that Michael and Calum were now able to see each other every day made them both happy - and that's all that mattered.
Author's Note: And... that's it. This story is officially over. No sequel. No one-shot. No spin-off. Nothing else will be that has to do with this story will be written by me.
