Ep:1 Attack on DS9

"Captain's log.... Wow Captain's log that feels new.. uh .. fuck computer pause"

Brushing back his untied hair Tadashi groaned, falling back into his bed. It had only been a few weeks since he began official command of the Excelsior and they completed their first assignment escorting Sato to earth and back

"Computer, how do I make a Captains log?" He asked feeling stupid

"Captain's logs are official Starfleet records recorded by the Commanding Officer. Captain's logs detail the missions assigned to their vessels and record any thing of interest the vessel her commander or crew may encounter or experience." The computer answered

"So just talk about my mission?" He asked

"Affirmative"

"Sounds simple enough. Erase last log and begin new" he asked earning a beep

"Captain's log. Stardate... Today? We have docked with deep space nine after completing our escort duty of the cargo vessels Hayashi. It was a uneventful trip nothing interesting really happened which is a new thing for me cause usually I have a knack for running into trouble, my orders right now are to just sit here at deep space nine until a new assignment comes through. StarFleet mentioned a height in rouge Klingon ships and remnants of the Maquis operating in the former DMZ zone. So may get to deal with that. Otherwise my crew are doing good I think I have a long way to go. Many of these guys have been with StarFleet their entire lives and worked hard to get where they are. So I'm not sure they're to accepting of a ex cargo captain suddenly shooting up the ranks and getting command of a starship. We'll see "

Tadashi glanced up and at his door having the sneaking suspicion that this was a prime opportunity for his doorbell to ring and be interrupted. And sure enough the door swung open without the beep and Thrall entered

"I do not like Starfleet at all" he commented tearing off his uniform jacket and tossing it on the floor

"Oi we aren't slobs, pick it up," Tadashi said sitting up. "I don't recall forcing you to follow me" he added

"And I never expected you of all people to join Starfleet either we often avoided these stuck up rule pushers during our salvage days not to mention so far two of their ships have tried to kill us and you made one of them our home." Thrall said half stripped down and flopping onto a couch in the corner

"Is Demora being hard on you?" Tadashi asked. "No Demora is actually sorta ok. Bit strict but not as stuck up like I thought she'd be. It's the others who don't see me as this commander thingy. They can't accept a former Andorian Merc is now a starfleet officer pretty sure they think I'm here cause we're married"

Tadashi sighed and got out of bed and moved over to lay on the couch and up against Thrall

"I know you were a bit salty about not getting to be my first Officer but they'll warm up to you and the chief of security best fits your aggressiveness anyways' ' Tadashi said. "And if they don't I'll make em"

"Oh yeah that'll reenforce me being the Captain's fuck buddy ideal Theu all share" Thrall answered rolling his eyes

"Thrall stop ok. It's been two weeks. You gotta give it a bit more time. You know they don't accept me yet. I literally jumped to the rank some people work decades to achieve and into the Command chair of a ship they consider as legendary as the Enterprise herself so I'm far from anyone's favorite right now either. But it's going to get better, just trust me?" He asked planting a soft kiss on his mates cheek

"Fine but if after a month nothing changes babe I'm done and I'll just go back and work with Sato" he said earning a frown

"And If you were smart you'd come back and command the Hayashi again"

"Don't think I could take Hayashi back even if I did leave Starfleet. Sato grew up and he's his own man now he earned it and dad would be proud to know he's running it now. If I left I'd just go back home and enjoy life on earth for a bit" he said

"We both know that ain't gonna last we can't sit still in one place" Thrall laughed only to look up to the sound of red alert

"Captain Ito come in DS9 is under attack we are at Red alert" Demora said

"Who the fuck is stupid enough to attack deep space nine? This stations armed like a battlestation" Thrall said hopping up and grabbing his pants

"Let's find out cause we're the only Starfleet ship here right now. Demora defensive positions now" Tadashi ordered heading out

On the bridge the two exited out

"Multiple Maquis fighters two Galor class vessels that aren't operating on Cardassian frequencies and we have a Dominion battlecruiser that's entered the system" Demora said rising from the command chair

"Dominion? Why are they working with the Maquis?" He asked "viewscreen on" he ordered the main viewer shifting to show the station opening fire on the approaching Dominion Warship

"Break all airlocks and prepare to move " Demora ordered

"Thrall bring all offensive systems online. Hail the Dominion vessel" Tadashi said sitting down

"Maquis fighters are making runs on the habitat rings Ds9 shields are holding. Dominon vessel isn't answering" Ensign Peterson responded

"Send word to Starfleet we're under attack priority one. Vanessa move us to engage the Cardassian vessel. Thrall do your best to target the Maquis fighters let's take the heat off DS9 evasive pattern alpha 3 let's go"

"Detaching from plyon impulse engines online" Vanessa said

"Targeting at will these Lil shits are fast though" Thrall said grabbing his console as the bridge jolted

"Cardassian vessel opening fire Shields are 80%" Thrall said

"Deep space Nine is taking heavy fire. She's Concentrating on the Dominion ship but it's shields are holding. They're breaking through the stations aft shields" Peterson said

"Thrall fire at will. Vanessa evasive maneuver avoid those torpedo's" Tadashi ordered

"Ds9s aft shields just failed, the docking ring is taking damage. I got Dominion transporter signatures. Ds9 is transmitting a distress call. Their weapons have gotten significantly more powerful"

"Vanessa get us between the Dominion ship and the station now" Tadashi said

"And kill us? Ok" Vanessa said

"The Dominion vessel has stopped attacking it's moving off . Four Maquis vessels are destroyed, 3 dead in the water and the remaining are following the Dominion ship. The Cardassian vessel is at 40% shields and retreating into Cardassian space.. deep space nine reports Colonel Kira has been taken sir" Demora said

"Helm pursuit course, who has Kira?" He asked

"I'm .. I'm not sure if I'm attempting to scan both the Dominion and Cardassian ship initiated Transporters both utilizing Dominion transporter tech. I can't pick up any Bajoran lifesigns I don't know who has her!" Raul said "Dominion ships heading for the Wormhole"

"Fuck... helm pursue the Cardassian ship maximum warp inform Starfleet now. " He said

"USS Defiant is enroute she'll be back in system in 10 minutes. StarFleets ordering us to pursue the Cardassian vessel" Demora said

"Thrall get ready when we catch up target their warpdrive and impulse engines. Engage!"
