Chapter One

The next morning,

Chris gets up at 8am to go to the training camp for the Denver Nuggets as he prepares to eat breakfast along with his family. His family had asked about what had happened and he told them that he met the person at the beach, their family had a surprising impression knowing that Chris found a guy that would be there in the nick of time.

Mrs. Braun: I heard you met the guy right?

Christian Braun: Yes I have.

Mrs. Braun: Ah I see! Why don't you invite him over to dinner with us?

Christian Braun: Mom, are you kidding me?

Mrs. Braun: No I'm not kidding Chris. I mean look at you, it is destined for you and the guy to meet.

Christian Braun: Pfft. Fine, thanks for your input Mom

The doorbell rings as Chris goes to the living room to open the door. "Aaron Gordon, I didn't expect you to be here," Chris felt surprised. "Hi there, I was wondering if I can join you for breakfast," Aaron said. "Sure, come on in," Chris lets Aaron in to his family home as the Braun family were eating at the dining table.

Mrs. Braun: Hi there I'm Lisa. Call me Mrs. Braun.

Mr. Braun: I'm Donny Braun nice to meet you.

Aaron Gordon: it's nice to meet you all Mr. And Mrs. Braun. My name is Aaron Gordon.

Mrs. Braun: so I heard that you met Christian.

Aaron Gordon: Oh yeah I did, I met him yesterday and he seems very bubbly in my book.

Mrs. Braun: Ah I see.

Aaron Gordon: You know I was thinking of taking Chris with me to hangout at the bleachers since I wanted to get to know him more.

Mr. Braun: that's fun.

Mrs. Braun: you know Aaron, just to tell you this that one day you and Chris will make a great couple.

Christian Braun: Mom, come on. Do I need to hear this romance again?

Mrs. Braun: Chris it's alright. It's about time you and Aaron Gordon will be on each other's company for the romance you know.

Christian Braun: yeah I heard you.

Mrs. Braun: Anyways, you two run along.

Aaron Gordon: Thanks for having me at your table.

Mr. And Mrs. Braun: No problem and you're welcome to come over anytime and show Chris around.

Aaron Gordon: you know I will.

They left the house to go to the Denver Nuggets training facility. "Aaron can you not embarrass me in front of my family please?" Chris said shaking his head. "Why? What's wrong with meeting your family?" Aaron looked confused. "I mean nevermind, I'd rather not talk about it right now," Chris sighed. "We can talk about this later once we get to the bleachers," "Okay, we'll talk about it when we get there," Next, they stopped at the practice as they were preparing to dress up for practice. Later on, Chris meets the head coach of the Denver Nuggets. "Hi I'm Michael Malone, Head coach for the Denver Nuggets. You're new here right?" The man asked. "Yes I am, I'm Christian Braun. Nice to meet you coach Malone," He shook his hands. "Welcome to Denver Nuggets," He said. Everyone in the Nuggets roster came to get to know Christian Braun as they were playing around in the court.

Meanwhile at the Practice,

Aaron and Chris were practicing how to dribble and shoot the ball in the basket as the rest of the teammates were gathering around to play together and watch the play. In the meantime, they were able to make the most out of the game. "I bought you guys some popcorn chicken and milk tea," Jeff Green said. "Gee thanks Jeff," Aaron said as he and Chris were eating snacks watching all the teammates play. They enjoyed their company together. Somehow, Aaron wanted to talk to Chris about some things that he would be interested in.

Aaron Gordon: Chris, can I have a moment to talk with you?

Christian Braun: Sure Aaron! What's up?

Aaron Gordon: look I know it maybe too early to be in this position, but I want to get you know more about you.

Christian Braun: Okay, go for it.

Aaron Gordon: We've been getting to know each other for quite a while now and I'm beginning to feel the special connection.

Christian Braun: okay, what is it?

Aaron Gordon: Well I don't know what to say, I do really like you.

Christian Braun: really?

Aaron Gordon: Yes. It's because of that, I feel like I'm interested in you.

Christian Braun: Oh right! You are interested in me. What makes you think of that?

Aaron Gordon: Your family told you this would happen that you and me will make a great couple.

Christian Braun: Since when did you hear my mom saying that you and me will make a great couple?

Aaron Gordon: it's because she wants us to have fun that's all.

Christian Braun: Okay that sounds great I can see that.

After hanging out at the bleachers, Chris' uncle was asking how the meeting went with Aaron Gordon. "It went well," He replied. "Oh wow that's great!" His uncle said. "Apparently, it's time that you and him were meeting up and getting to know each other," "I know and to be honest, he seems very nice,"

"How so?" His uncle teases. "I'm not that stupid if you ask me," He explains about when he first met Aaron Gordon at the Nuggets practice facility. "It was just a matter of time because Aaron and I were sitting on the bleachers eating popcorn chicken, drinking boba and listening to music together," Michael Porter Jr. Who happens to be his best friend were there with Jeff Green. "Yeah that is why Aaron Gordon is interested in you," His uncle said. "Besides, do you have any plans with him?" "I'll go to Applebee's with him," Christian Suggested.

Chris' Uncle: oh really?

Christian Braun: Yeah and plus, we have a lot to talk about. Don't tell mom I said that because I will look lame 🥴.

Chris' Uncle: Chris you know your mom understands that you have to be in a relationship with Aaron Gordon.

Christian Braun: Oh yeah?

Chris' Uncle: Yep.

Christian Braun: he's not even my type, I tell you.

Chris' Uncle: You are already his type. Get used to him.

Christian Braun: Okay then, I'll get used to him.

Christian Braun POV:

I promise one day me and Aaron Gordon will be together as friends, but that being said he's not even my type like why do I need to be his romantic partner. Besides, we're still on acquaintances list first. Maybe one day he'll be my next boyfriend. You'll have to wait and see hehe. But who knows? Maybe I'm going to be his future wife and a mother to his kids
