《Verity: A true principle or belief, especially one of fundamental importance.》

Aqua was aware of the new life he lived, haunted by his past life. Now tormented in his future.

The young Hoshino knew being the child of Ai would be a blessing and a curse.

Aqua would have to hope and pray that his father wouldn't slip up.

And yet, he could have lost his bubbly and bumbling father all because of a stalker-fan.

Then... What? How would he'd cope? How would Ruby deal with their father's death? The young boy wouldn't know how to handle his father's death. He's still trying to grasp his OWN death in a former life.

Everything was happening so fast.. He couldn't keep up as he'd liked to think.

Even more uncanny was that now, his family were practically living with a complete STRANGER instead of finding another home. While Aqua agreed with Mr. Saitou reasoning behind it, it still left Aqua uneasy.

'Ai is a priority right now.'

Even after being attacked, it felt like his father didn't even care!

Aqua knew Ai, who was probably holding his fear inside. Not wanting to scare Aqua, nor Ruby..

Aqua knew he was a kid, but it hurt seeing his father struggle alone.

Yet.. You came into the picture.

You were even odder than.. Well, him and Ruby.

Aqua, in the beginning, was threatened by your presence. You came, literally stumbling into Ai's life. Saving their father and Aqua couldn't be happier at that moment.

Soon, most of his family's items were moved into your barely unpacked apartment,  and his father was getting friendly with you.

'You shouldn't Ai, that's what almost got you in trouble in the first place!'

Aqua wanted to scream at his father but held it in. Not wanting to fault Ai for being human and wanting to make a genuine healthy connection other than his kids or boss..

Is what he thought, or a part of him still believes that lie.

Ruby loves her new life!

She could be herself, free of the burdens that binded her in a past life.

The daughter of an idol, HER IDOL.

What more could she want? Well.. Besides what's been already given to her in this new body.

While her twin brother Aqua would often be closed off, (Along with having to share Ai's attention), Ruby loved him, not as much as Ai though.

Everything felt like a dream that bloomed into reality!

Until someone came in and blocked her flowers sunlight.

She wasn't there when Ai had got to answer the door, but her wails and bangs on the doors showed she knew something was wrong.

She remembered hearing Ai comforting her brother before opening the door, where Ruby rammed herself into her father's awaiting embrace. It felt... Warm, but not soothing in the slightest.

Ruby recalls seeing her brother stare at a slumped figure by the man who knocked on the door.

Disgusting colors mixing together in a gross display.

Her father shushes her sobs as he asks Aqua to get their father's phone. The way he says it is so.. Calmly.. It made her cries become louder.

When Ruby saw you, she felt like she saw a hero. One from cartoons that would come in and save the day, a big smile on their face while saying a catchphrase.

The closest thing to your "catchphrase" was when she saw you scramble to the bathroom to vomit on the occasion.

It felt like your presence had but her father at ease after the horrible encounter with a "supposed fan."

'Fans don't kill... Not true fans like myself!'

Ruby welcomed you into her life, albeit not as warm like her father, nor as cold as her brother.

You treated her and Aqua with kindness, getting to know them individually and learning their interests when you could.

You were trying. Ruby could see that, just like Ai, you were trying so hard.

Ruby could accept that, at least, she believes..

-

While the twins are at least seen as you no longer a threat and genuinely trying to form a connection with you.

You... Weren't.. Normal, in a way..

Maybe it was the way you seemed so tired.

Or when you become almost lifeless when cooking or doing a simple task. Only "waking up" when anyone would converse with you.

Maybe it had to do with the purple sludge they'd sometimes see in the trash.

Nothing you made food wise or drank was purple.
