The mother held a stone with a light, depicting text in an abnormal language. " The end," she said, smiling at her son. Now many years have passed since Larop Summintatem's reign and inevitable passing. It's so old that some say it was just a myth, while others claim Larop had the power to create worlds, though he never unlocked it. Nevertheless, anyone with that last name became popular with the people; all known by that name were nobles. "Ruhe?" she uttered.
Her son looked up at her and replied, "Mom, sorry, I was just thinking." He teared up and continued, "If this story you tell me so often is true... why have things gotten worse?"
His mother looked off, then back into his eyes and said, "Well, you can't change people's hearts." She then gently clasped her hands, onto his sons chin.
In this era, experiments don't happen often. Instead, nobles now buy commoners with powerful and mysterious magic. Some escape years later, unable to use their magic anymore, severely damaged both mentally and physically. Normal commoners are still treated horribly, and massacres on commoner land happen frequently, mainly in areas near the middle class.
Ruhe sighed, "Ma, I want to say goodnight."
The mother giggled, ruffling his hair. "Goodnight, my little peace." She left the room, taking a deep breath, she went outside. A woman with silver hair and green eyes approached her.
"Have you made your decision? To complete my collection, give me the Emblem of Peace." The mysterious woman asked.
The mother looked at the demanding woman and replied, "I'm sorry, M'Noble Resaveeis, but I wouldn't dare give you my son. I haven't even told him that people want him." Her eyes showed great sadness, she was truly afraid of what would happen if her son was taken.
Resaveeis stared at the mom with hatred. "You commoner parents are so stubborn. With his magic, I can bring peace to Amaí." She responded, gritting her teeth.
The mother shook her head, "I won't allow you! You'll harm my boy! You tell lies; you just want to add to your collection. You told me that earlier! You help no one but yourself!" She hollered.
Suddenly, Ruhe ran outside beside his mother and asked, "Ma, who is that?" Grabbing onto her leg, slightly hiding behind.
Resaveeis smiled and said, "Hello, Ruhe Daucuoi. Your mother and I were just talking about selling you to me." The noble smiled delightfully.
Ruhe stared at her, he then quickly went infront of his mother, spreading his arms. "Lies! I heard everything! You've been bothering my ma! Leave us be, YOU KAKE!" he demanded.
The noble looked dumbfounded and then filled with anger, raising her hand to slap the boy. "You disrespectful little c-"
Ruhe's mother jumped in front of him, getting slapped instead. "Don't touch my son!" She hollered.
The noble smirked, "Whatever, you'll be mine. Embodiment of Peace. You won't have a choice." Resaveeis snickered. Ruhe's mother looked at his face, realizing he was trembling, tears welling up in his eyes.
The mother quickly began to speak to console him. "Ruhe, she's all talk. She won't harm anyone." She told him, crouching down, now face to face with him.
Ruhe began to sob, "She said I don't have a choice. She's going to massacre us! She's going to kill everybody!" He bawled, hiccuping through his tears.
Ruhe's mother started sobbing as well, she hated to see her son cry. "Ruhe, trust me, she won't! She won't hurt anyone!"
Ruhw glared at her, tears still falling from his face, he asked. "How would you know that? You said we can't change people's hearts!"
The mother grabbed her son's hands, clasping them in her own. "...You're the Emblem Of Peace, Ruhe. You can create peace no matter necessary! Those in the past couldn't change a thing without violence. Yet, when you get older. You'll do great things! You'll be just like your hero!"
Ruhe eye's lit up for just a moment, but then he quickly turned to dreading., "actually, I have no hero..." He got up walking back to his bedroom, wiping his tears away from his facw, leaving his mother alone.
His mother began tremble, and then to wail. She calmed herself quickly, beginning to mumble under her breath. "I failed him." continuously.
