I stare at it in disbelief for at least a couple of minutes. I click on the account to see if it's not just a fan account, but no, it's really him. The real Kris Guštin had sent me a follow request..
I start to wonder how he even found my account. My full name is the user name and I don't remember telling him my full name.. he must have seen it on my metro card or somewhere else.
There's really no debate that I have to accept his request, right? So that's what I do. I check my DM, but he hasn't sent me anything. Just the follow request.
Should I send him something? I know all this will keep me up all night so I decide to message my best friend Lia, because she usually is awake at this time. I already called her tonight to explain everything that had happened since I left her house and she was really invested in the story, to say the least. So I think she'll appreciate the update.
Me: Omg you will not believe what just happened...
Not even two minutes later, she responds.
Lia: everything that's happened today has been unbelievable, so I can't imagine that... but what's up?
Me: Kris sent me a follow request on insta 😳 like, an actual follow request on my private, and I have no idea what to do now?!
Lia: whattt? How did he even find your account??? Creepy stalker vibes 🤨
I chuckle a bit, because if this had been any other person I would agree with her, but not Kris. He can do anything and I would forgive him. And with that, what person has ever complained about an actual famous person following their insta?
Me: I'm fine with it really.. but how do I move forward? Do I send him a DM?
Lia doesn't get any time to respond to my message because at that exact moment I get another notification from Instagram.

Oh. My. God. He is indeed stalking my account. It is now 2:22AM exactly so this must be some kind of sign? Why is he even still up? But then I remember, they must still be at the bar!

Lia: girl you are going to see him tomorrow that can't be scarier than this?!!! MAN UP
Me: okay hold on
She was right, I need to open it. So I go back to Instagram and open my DM. Kris responded to my story that I made earlier that day, the selfie of me on the Tower Bridge, where I found out that Kris, Nace and Bojan were standing in the background of my picture. I still posted it later that day.

My heart is beating so hard in my chest. For real, all this sarcastic flirting is about to send me to the hospital. He is right though, I can't sleep because of my nerves for tomorrow. There's no way I would've believed it if 24 hours ago I told myself that I would be texting with THE Kris Guštin....

I'm shaking and smiling at my phone constantly, and I actually want to keep talking to him forever, but his answers are taking longer and longer and it is now almost 3AM.
