It's already been a year since I saw him. I always look at the signs. The numbers on busses but even if I get to sit on the bus we frequently sit on, wala na siya doon.

I still remember him in every corner of the station. The donut shop, the benches, and the coffee vending machine where he frequently insist on giving me coffee for free.

Madalas na rin akong tumambay sa sunken garden sa UP Diliman baka lang makita ko siya. Until, I stopped doing it. Baka gano'n lang talaga. We're just meant to be each other's companion for a while, just to have a taste of escaping reality. We're indeed reflection of each other's life, we're parallels. Maglalapit nang maglalapit ngunit hindi magdidikit.

Today is the opening of class. It is my senior year na, I can't believe that I got this far. So much heartaches because of my majors as well as my summer term's OJT. I cried a lot sa sobrang exhaustion and bigat ng workload.

Ang ganda ng theme ni PUP this year. They have a lot of activities today and OMG mayroong free Brownies and candies. In promotion din with safe sex, They give freebies like condoms and flyers.

I saw so many freshies around on their iskolar shirts. I remember my first day was, I was stucked at home 'cause of pandemic, how boring right?. Just like these freshies, I was also so excited being a PUPian, being an iskolar, but once they got inside they'll know why it is said that passing is hard but getting out is thrice as hard, actually, it's not comparable at all, It's really hard to graduate. Indeed, walang spoonfeeding and as an iskolar, kailangan mong magsipag sa pag-aaral.

My dorm right now is just near PUP Main so I just walked. I chatted kaela na magkikita kami sa chapel. I saw her right away. Guess what? Bago ulit ang buhok ni ante. She's sporting her new mettalic red hair, black tube, and wide washed denim pants.

"Ante!!! I missed you so much so much! Grabe, Ibang iba ang aura mo ngayon!" Sambit niya and she sipped on her favorite lemonade. Umupo kami sa benches near the chapel as we wait for our other classmates since we have a get together ganap sa lunch

"2 weeks lang tayong hindi nagkita uy! We always video chat pa because of our documentation for ojt, 'di ba?. Anyway, I missed you too, Badiday!" Tinawanan ko siya no'ng nag-make face siya noong nadinig niya ang kanyang nickname na badiday.

"Alam mo ba? Pinagalitan ako ni Engr.Robles" Sambit niya. Sino naman 'tong Engr. Robles na 'to?. Sa dami ba namang Engineers sa OJT and even sa school faculty, I've memorized them last time but forgot them already kasi tapos na ang OJT so, why would I need to remember them? eme lang, mga next boss ko sila.

" Sinong robles, vebs. Bago ba 'yan sa faculty?" I know a lot of Robles in our school pero I can't recall lang about this Engr. Robles.

" Yaps! He recently passed the boards last month. He's our alumni kaya, you know from PICE, the Civil engineering Org?. He's from admin 8. Naiirita ako sa ugali niyang perfectionist!" Ah oo nga He's our senior, The legendary, Emery Robles. He's such a legendary for getting an uno in Engr. Jerico's Calculus 2 class. Two-time champion din siya sa Math wizard competition. Also, to top all his achievements, He topped the recent CE board exam.

Nakasama ko na rin si Kuya Emery sa The Engineering Bulletin, a school newspaper sa Engineering department kung saan graphic designer si kuya emery while I contribute articles. He's kind of perfectionist but honestly, as I observe when I was working with him, ayaw niyang nagigipit sa time 'yong project so he really plan until the littlest detail. I stopped writing din naman afterwards since I can't juggle it together with my other orgs as well as being an engineering student. Ewan ko kay kuya emery kung paano niya kinaya maging President ng PICE, member ng Engineering Bulletin, at student assistant ng Engineering faculty.
