They still couldn't believe it was possible, a water and a fire element were able to have a child. The first ever steam element as far as they know. It was still a shock, they both, what would they be like? All throughout Ember's pregnancy, she was always smiling while Wade was constantly making a river out of his tears. Anytime the baby kicked, during the ultrasound, building the crib. He almost flooded their apartment one time. They both still get a laugh remembering it.

And now Ember and Wade are gazing affectionately at their newborn babies, two girls. Both of the new parents were unable to hold back their tears as they were sleeping soundly in the hospital beds.

"What should we name them?" Ember asked.

"Well, since we have twins we can give one a fire name and the other a water name."

"Do you have any in mind? I think Kendra is the older one and Kenna is the youngest."

Ember moved further into Wade's embrace. But she remembered something. "Wade, what if we can't hold them? Their worst fears came true.

As a way to not worry his girlfriend he reminded her of how they first touched. "We can start small." They each laid a finger on each baby's cheek. And by some miracle neither one evaporated or extinguished. Ember and Wade hugged one another.

"Ready to go home?" Wade asked.

Ember nodded. "But we'll still have to consider any problems they could face from other elements. But for now I'm glad to know that their grandparents will be able to hold them."

"Me too."
