Chapter 3

Chapter 3 is up, pls read it and i hope you like it! I know thats not a proper basketball jersey but I couldn't find one, sorry.

Luke's POV:

I walked into school, where the jocks and kind of popular people sat. I was on the basketball team so I was quite popular, i guess? The people there didn't pay attention to me except my best friend Calum who waved me over. He was captain of the basketball team which is how I got into the team. I actually don't really like basketball, but my brothers Ben and Jack weren't sporty, so my dad would come to my basketball games.

As soon as i sat down with Calum, I opened twitter and hoped ashton was on. I saw a message from him.I bit my lip ring in excitement when I saw that he had messaged me.

@ash18: hi luke

@hemmo1996: r u at school?

@ash18: yeah in homeroom but im bored so im just texting u.

@hemmo1996: yeah, probs bcuz i'm irresistable right?

I wrote in a joking way.

@ash18: your flattering yourself way too much, luke . I doubt your that awesome and handsome. prove it.

@hemmo1996: of course i am. here's your proof: I'm a cute penguin with a lip piercing that can sing and play guitar.

@ash18: if that happened i would run away screaming.

@hemmo1996: i won't bcuz i am totally awesome and handsome and punk rock.

@ash18: you wish.

@hemmo1996: what you mean is that you wish you were me.

I waited for 5 minutes but he hadn't replied.

@hemmo1996: whats wrong, ashy?

@hemmo1996: pls reply

@hemmo1996: look im sry i didn't mean 2 offend u.

@hemmo1996: cmon pls!!

Fifteen minutes had past and I was seriously worried. What had happened to Ashton? I left to class and sat down during study period. I just sat there the whole time and waited for a reply.

Half and hour later I finally got my answer.

@ash18: got shoved inside a locker and sprained my wrist. im fine 4 now.

I sighed in relief. But how did he get shoved inside a locker? Was he getting bullied?

@hemmo1996: ash, i know this might be a personal question, but r u getting bullied?

@ ash18: ......yes....... :(

I felt my heart clench. Ashton was getting bullied? He shouldn't be. He doesn't deserve to be. I sighed.

@hemmo1996: I wish I was there to defend u.

@ash18: thx its rlly sweet of u. but im fine im used to it by now.

I felt even worse. Did this happen every day? I could tell he was going through a tough time. I hope it gets better soon.

@hemmo1996: ash, things will get better. Just ignore the bullies.

@ash18: how can u do that when it happens everyday?

I was right. It did happen everyday. I wanted to be beside him and cheer him up. It sucked that there were no Ashton's at our school. I started to think of ways to help him when I was cut of by a buzz.

@ash18: bye luke gtg.

I sighed sadly then texted back
