"ok, would someone like to explain to me what's going on?" moon said as she got up from the cold ground.
"we don't know either! stop asking questions that people don't know" ilyse said in a carefree yet irritated manner.
"calm down. everyone is anxious and wanting answers but we have no choice but to look for clues. instead of fighting around, try to help the people around you." vee turned back for a moment before going back to search on a shelf.
silence was present for the thousandth time that day. each in their corner, some in pairs or trios, but everyone refused to be with strangers.
and when the lights went out again, everyone was startled. a scream was heard and shortly after a laugh.
"oh my god, i can't breathe" zensho held her stomach while laughing and looking at everyone. "what?" after stopping, she decided to ask while looking at the serious faces in the room.
"what was this for? I thought someone had died. mari and amy are enough deaths." miko muttered and flipped the switch, going back to doing what she was doing before.
"you don't know how to have fun" the girl left, leaving everyone else there.
after these events, everyone decided to look in other rooms. bathrooms, library, classrooms. anywhere.
"hey, miko, i still think it's you" bambi approached the other girl.
"what did i do to you?" the bathroom wasn't the nicest place to have a conversation like this.
"you know what you did. the mari theory makes so much sense. "
"goodbye, i can't talk about this right now."
"why? because you're killing everyone?"
"just stop already! stop accusing inoccent people when the murder can be you." and saying that, she left the place, leaving a thoughtful bambi in the middle of the bathroom.
"hey vee, what brings you here?" lexi said, walking around in one of the classrooms.
"do you suspect anyone?" side by side, both were looking for clues.
"i didn't think about that. what about you?"
"ruu is weird today."
"and why do you think that?" lexi was also finding vee's behavior strange. why did she come out of nowhere just to say that she suspects ruu?
"before all of this, we ended up bumping into each other and she dropped some papers. I wouldn't have found it suspicious if she hadn't reacted so desperately to picking them up."
"it actually makes sense. but I don't know, I think we should think. i'll talk to you later"
before they could say goodbye, the lights went out. they even thought it was another prank, only this time no one heard any laughter.
"vee? are you there?" started and afraid, lexi approached looking for her colleague.
"yes, i'm here. are you fine?" with that speech the lights came back on. everyone reconvened in the main hall. and as you guessed it, one person was missing.
"killer, come on. we already understood. first mari, then amy and now miko? what did these innocent people do to you?" adri flinched and was received by her sister's arms.
"you really have no idea..." a voice said quietly. no one listened and as planned, they smirked.
