the atmosphere was horrible. everyone far from everyone, nobody talking to each other and most important: the murderer is still unknown.
mari, amy and miko weren't there anymore and apparently only a few people cared. for example lai, who was just there doing nothing. sitting on the cold ground, playing with her fingers and refusing to look up. it just didn't make sense.
"uhm... guys." a silent voice said and suddenly they could hear people walking around.
"what happened?" a very careful moon murmured and entered classroom number 17 to look for the person who called.
"this is where amy died. i was searching here and i found these papers." after turning around, zensho showed the things in her hands.
"stop talking shit, we know you are not speaking the truth." yin didn't even bat an eye.
"hey i saw ruu carrying things that looked just like that" vee went to the front and grabbed the papers to take a better look.
"what are you saying? that doesn't have the school logo on it, it could be student run!" after ruu defended herself, everybody looked at yin and lexi who help plan a lot of different student events.
"why are you looking at me? this doesn't mean anything." lexi walked backwards with a terrible face.
"those are the documents about some events that the school is planning to do. only you and yin have access to that." ming said quietly.
"okay, i got it, but why are we getting suspected because of some stupid papers?" yin pointed a finger at zensho.
"because there's blood on it." silence again.
"what?" lexi picked up the clue and after some search, it was there. blood. "oh."
"now that we are here, i would like to say that i suspect moon." ilyse looked at the suspect while talking.
"why?" moon said with a confused face.
"i saw you with a t-shirt. it was all torn up in mari's locker. you just put it in your backpack and pretended you didn't find anything."
"i didn't talk about that because i don't trust anyone, especially you."
"okay, let's talk about things that matter here. who had P.E today?" vee tried to take care of the situation.
"i had it with yin, ruu and zensho at the end of the day." ilyse came back with moon's backpack in hands.
"so let's put those people in here for some time. meanwhile we go back to searching for more clues." adri left the room with the rest behind her, leaving the three suspects in the classroom.
"what do we do about lexi? she's a strong suspect too." nobel murmured and looked at everyone quietly.
"let's keep her with us for now, it's just some documents." ming said and walked away.
"wait. i agree with ilyse. i highly suspect moon." adri stopped ming in his spot.
"let's stop with this kind of stuff. we have no idea of who's the murderer and if you keep suspecting everyone we're going nowhere." without turning around, ming went away.
"moon, i think you should stay with the other people in that room." lexi said calmly.
"but-"
"no buts. if you're a suspect you should be there, away from the people who just want to go home." adri crossed her arms and stared at moon with a small smirk.
"ok. if it makes you sleep at night." moon snorted and walked to classroom 17. "i think you should keep an eye on ilyse." after that, she opened the door and went to zensho's side.
"now that she's gone, let's take a look at this incredible t-shirt."
time keeps ticking and everyone inside the school is scared of ending up dead. sure, they have hope but the person behind all of that does not have pity.
when they open the bag, the lights went off for the fourth time in the past hour. gasps and screams could be heard all over the place.
"this is not a joke, right zensho?"
"obviously not, yin! i'm scared to death, literally." zensho tried to find a way out of the small space in which four people were situated.
before anyone could make a move, the lights came again.
"oh no." it's all that yin could say in the moment.
"hey guys! i think you should know about this." moon called the others and soon everybody was there.
it's hard to believe that a person disappeared inside of a school. there were witnesses. it was impossible. or that was what they thought.
"ruu? please tell me that you're kidding." no response.
and it was at this moment that they realized they were fucked up.
