Ria heard knocking on her door. Still tired, she didn't feel like answering. The knocking continued, but this time, more aggressive.
"Go away," Ria groaned.
Whoever was knocking didn't stop, but instead opened the door, and this caused Ria to look at who opened it.
"Get up,"
That was all Ria needed to hear to know who it was, Miguel.
"Fine," Ria said.
She knew that she wouldn't be able to argue with him, nor would she try. Once Ria started to get up, Miguel left. She got herself cleaned up, and then put on her spider suit. She left her room and went into the hallways eventually making her way to where everyone else was.
Miguel was ranting on what people had to do, since this was very serious. Ria didn't really care, all she wanted to do was sleep. As Miguel talked, he put people into teams of two. And of course Ria was in a group with Miguel.
People were opening portals and going into them, and Ria had to find where Miguel was.
"Over here," Miguel said.
Ria lazily walked over to where Miguel was, and he opened a portal. Ria knew what to do, so she walked in it. There was absolutely nothing to be seen, it was all sand.
"There's nothing here, it's just a desert," Ria complained.
Miguel didn't say anything, he simply put his mask on and waited. Ria copied what he did. Soon there was a lot of rumbling, and than the sand started to rise. A man formed from the sand, but the man was literally sand. It made no sense to Ria. Then, the sand man let out a sicking roar, and Ria knew that it meant trouble.
