Ria and the other spider people arrived at the meeting, and were waiting for Miguel to start talking. Once there, Ria could see the frustration on Miguel's face. Ria didn't bother to pay attention to Miguel ranting, but instead thought about her aunt, and how confused she must be.

Once Miguel was done, everyone was dismissed. Ria happily left, and went to her room. She sat on the bed, exhausted. She thought about sneaking out, but had no energy to do so. Ria grabbed her phone out of her pocket, while also grabbing her earbuds. She was in the middle for some music. Once Ria got her playlist open, she shuffled it a few times before letting it play, her favorite song started to play.

I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser
Midnights become my afternoons
When my depression works the graveyard shift
All of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room

As the music continued to play, Ria started to hum along, her favorite part started to play.

It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me
At tea time, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero

Ria felt a tear run down her cheek, remembering how she was the one who failed to protect her world, how she was the one who let it get destroyed. The song ended, snd another one played, one she didn't care for that much. Ria decided to stop listening to music, she was stuck in her thoughts, thinking about how she could've saved the world if she tried hard enough. Ria slowly layed herself down on the bed, eyes on the ceiling. She wondered what the future would have for her, if she had one at all.
