"Good morning, baby." You said, just as Aidan was walking into the room.
"Good morning, sweetheart." Aidan says, putting his phone in his pocket. "What do you want to do today?"
"um, so, I thought maybe the mall and then like a movie later." You say, secretly recording the whole time.
"What do you want to see?"
"Except-- I think i'm gonna go by myself..." Aidan is taken back by the this, taking a deep breath to not lash out. "Like- I don't want you coming."
"...why?" He says in a small voice. Then he raises his voice more clearly. "Is it because I leave my contacts on the table every other day-- or is it because I left the toilet seat up and you almost fell?" You start laughing. "I can go fall in instead if you want. Just let me come. I don't know what I did. Please. You could put me on a leash and I will be your bitch, all day-- SORRY-- dog. I'll follow you around, walk on all fours, do ANYTHING you want. JUST LET ME COME."
"umm..." Aidan waits patiently for your response. "no, i'm gonna go by myself."
"Ok, fine, but atleast take some money." He digs through his pocket, pulling out 2 twenty-dollar bills. Aidan goes to hand them to you, but you shake your head, putting your phone away in your back pocket. Aidan furrows his eyebrws in confusion. "What do you mean no?"
"I'm not taking your money, Aidan."
"Just take it."
"No, that's your money."
He put the money in the palm of your hand. "Fine." He doesn't have to know I won't spend it. You thought to yourself. You went to the mall, bought some stuff with your money. You watched the new Little Mermaid movie. Aidan spends the day playing guitar and writing a few lyrics. When you come home in the evening, Aidan was taking a nap on your bed. You smile, pulling the $40 dollars he gave you out of your pocket. You place the money with a note in his pants pocket.
I'm sorry, I can't take or spend your money. I appreciate the gesture, but I don't need it.
- Your love bug.
You added another $40 just in case he needs it, he probably won't tho. Later that day, Aidan finds the note and shakes his head, chuckling.
"This woman, I swear."
