IT WAS THE EVENING, the start of Raine's party. Although I was quite nervous for it, what could possibly go wrong at a party? We were in Minnesota though it wasn't as cold as Raine said it would have been. So, I was dressed up in a black dress, which I had let Jack pick out since he also had trouble finding what to wear...even though he stuck with brown corduroy pants and a white vans shirt, simple!

Raine had her studio friends over, one of her lifetime friends, Abby. I hadn't seen her in awhile and it was nice to see her. We caught up as soon as we saw each other, she was currently studying in Maine, told me to get ready for college...which started to haunt me a little more than it was.

We were already an hour into the party. Both Bailey and David were singing some karaoke, particularly, Style by Taylor Swift. Which was super catchy as everyone else started recording and dancing with their whole life.

"Oh there you are" Matt said, grabbing me by the shoulders. "I've been looking for you everywhere!".

"I can tell..." I look at him curiously. "You're kinda sweaty". I push his arms off my shoulders and he sighs as he's out of breath. "What do you need?".

"First off sorry I'm out of breath I ran up those stairs" he complains. "Secondly, Jack is looking for you".

    "Oh...where is he".

"That's the thing" he laughs. "I kinda lost him. I'm sorry, Raine invited too many people".

"It's fine" I shrug. "I'll find him don't worry...go get some water or something, you need it".

I left Matt alone. He sure was right when he said Raine invited a lot of people. I didn't know half of these people here—and it kind of concerned me for the most part of it.

But here I was anyway. I shouldn't even be partying, as I had to get ready for my role. Badly, I wanted to go home to our rental. My gut was telling me to go but I wanted to know what Jack wanted. "Blairrrr" I hear a voice call out". I turn around and Raine is making her way towards me as she dances along to the music. "Blairrrr, I saw Jack with a girl. Now why isn't that you".

"What?" I start to freak out. "What were they doing?".

She shrugs, "just talking. But that should be you!".

I start to bite my nails. After kissing him on the cheek the other night, it was still awkward. I knew he was scared—he didn't ask why I did that, at least not right now. But there it was, I turn around and this girl was hugging him, although he looked super uncomfortable.

"I will finally show him that i do like him" I begin to frown. "because i don't want to wait for him and if he can't see that...maybe there's someone else who cares".

Raine gasped at my words. "You're saying that out of jealously. And I know you mean it...but you look like you're gonna be sick".

"I'm..I'm fine Raine". However I wasn't, she was close to him. Jack, my Jack, the boy that started out as a silly little crush that got way more intense. "I should step outside". Before I did, Raine glared at Jack, immediately making her way towards him which was my cue to leave. It was way better outside. Though there wasn't any seating so I just sat down on the floor.
