It's been a week since Bill showed up at my house past 10:00pm the day I moved in. I couldn't believe what happened. He asked for my number, and the feeling of his hand grazing against mine sent shivers across my body. I've never touched a boy before, so all of this was new to me. Ever since that night, I've been thinking about him and all the possibilities if I hadn't closed the door on him. I wasn't trying to be rude, he had just gotten me so nervous. We've been texting since then after that but I still had to apologize for what I had done. My parents had finally started working at their job, and that's when me and Bill would meet up and see each other. At my house since I was too nervous to run into his family. My parents were getting ready to leave for work sometime during the morning, and I kissed them goodbye. Once the both of them left, I had already gotten a text from Bill.

"So when can I see you today?" I smile at his message and quickly reply back.

"My parents just left for work. They won't be back until past midnight. We can meet up in 15." I set my phone down on the counter and reach for the cereal to pour myself a bowl.

After I was done eating, i put my dish in the sink and hear a knock on the door. My heart skips a beat and I feel my skin heat up. My body always tenses up like that whenever I feel his presence. I walk over and open the door to see Bill. A smile instinctively appears on my lips, and i gesture for him to come inside.

"I was thinking we can go somewhere else today." Bill suggests. His hands were stuffed in the front pocket of his jeans, and i could tell that was a nervous habit of his.

My heart warms at his gesture. Since it was summer time and I was still in pajamas, I let him come inside while he waits for me to get dressed.

"Wait here and i'll be down in 5 minutes." I tell him before rushing up the stairs toward my bedroom.

I put on a basic t-shirt with some Jean shorts and sneakers. I put my hair into a ponytail and rush down the steps. Bill was still sitting where I left him and on his phone.

"I'm ready." Bill instantly looks up from his phone and makes direct contact with me. He gets up and struts his way over toward me. I feel my heart pounding inside my chest.

His hand wraps around my waist, and i could feel his face inching closer.

"Are you sure this is okay?" I ask him in a worried tone.

Bill drops his hand from my waist and leans back. "Am I moving to fast for you, Scarlet?"

The way he said my name made me feel like fainting right there on the floor, but I composed myself.

"No, not at all. I just want to make sure we both know we're making the right move."

"Of course we are. As long as it's okay with you." His voice was gentle. I never felt this way towards a guy, and never knew how sweet someone could be either.

"It's more than okay with me. Come on, let's go see the place you want to go." I grab his hand and intertwine our fingers together.

Bill follows right behind before walking up next to me, fingers still locked together. We begin walking away from all the houses, and before long, we were walking somewhere that was covered in fresh green grass with trees almost everywhere. There was a blue river streaming down in the middle, and birds could be heard chirping nearby.

"Bill, this is beautiful. How did you find this place?"

"Me and my brother come here whenever we need peace from our parents. You're a very special person to me, so you deserve to have peace here to."

I rest my head on his broad shoulder, and suddenly nothing else mattered. The two of us begin walking over to a tree that provided shade, and the two of us sat down beside it and rested there, having the stream of water right in front of us. It was so romantic. Bill wraps his arm around my shoulder, and I lay my head on him once again. Neither one of us say a word for awhile, until Bill spotted a field of flowers in the distance.
