"So! How do I look!" I smile as I jump infront of Sam standing in a star pose before acting out a false catwalk.
"You look good Y/N.. I'm sure he'll like it". Sam smiles, turning back to the sink to continue washing up from his dinner. I didn't eat anything, I was too nervous for this date that I just couldn't.
"Hey Sam.. you okay? You seem really.. quiet and not yourself?" I speak as I walk up to him, placing my arm against his back resting my head on his shoulder. His body was so warm, it was so calming. I always enjoyed his presence.
"I'm okay Y/N, think I might just be a bit under the whether that's all... but please promise me something"
"Oh of course anything, what is it." I lift my head from his shoulder to get a better view of his face to listen to him properly as he speaks to me.
"Please just, make sure you come home tonight.. a-and if at any point you don't feel safe, call or text me and I will run to come and get you, okay?" I didn't quite understand what he meant, it was obvious that I would be coming home. I didn't have it in mind to go back to Sangwoo's place if that's what he meant. But the fact he wants me to be safe made me feel a lot better, just reminds me that he does truly care about me. He's such a good friend.
"I promise Sam. I'll come home and give you all the juicy details." I nudge his arm with my elbow, but he just chuckles awkwardly avoiding my eye gaze. I couldn't help but sigh. I understand Sam may not be feeling well but the fact his enthusiasm wasn't the same as mine was a little disheartening..
"Well, I'd best get going! See you later!"
"Bye Y/N, be safe!"
I leave the house closing the door behind me and make my way down the street into town. My stomach felt full of anxiety. I didn't know whether I wanted to be sick or burst out squealing like a child. My hands were shaking. 'God why am I so panicked!"
It didn't take me long to reach the cafe, I live in quite a good spot so everything is more or less a 5 minute walk. I reach the cafe and head inside, instantly spotting Sangwoo at a table, he glances up and notices me walking in, standing up and coming to greet me. 'Shit am I late?!?! I thought I'd be too early for sure..'
"Y/N!" He waves walking up to me. He looked so handsome, which only made my nerves get worse.
"H-Hey! Sorry if I'm late" I apologise, scratching the back of my head. 'I for sure thought I'd get here before hun.. I had it all planned in my head that I would arrive first..'
"No not at all! I just got here a bit early that's all! Come let's sit and look at the menu" He smiles, gesturing towards the table he was previously sat at. 'He got here early?? What time did he even get here? If I thought that I was going to be early right now then.. how long has he been waiting here..'
I sit down opposite hun, picking up the drinks menu from the stand and having a browse.
"Oh wow they added some new drinks since I was last here! They all sound so good!" I say with a hyper tone. I always got so excited when they added new drinks, it was fun to see what new flavours they're trying to do.
"So many variations of coffee.." He says adding to my point, I couldn't help but giggle to his statement . I don't know why it tickled me so much. I notice he looks up from the menu at me with a confused stare. "Ah sorry! I-it's just, the way you said it, uh what you said about the coffee, i-it uh, it was kinda cute.. I uh, it's just that it's true, y'know- th-there is lots of variations and uh..." He looks at me even more confused. What I just said probably made zero sense to him. "sorry gah! why can I never speak properly to you in person!" I sigh slamming the menu against my face to hide. Only to hear a heart warming chuckle come from Sangwoo as his finger appears at the top of my menu, pushing it down to reveal my heavily embarrassed blushing face.
"So, what uh uh, variation uh uh, of uh, coffee uh are we getting uhhhh." I couldn't help but burst out laughing at Sangwoo obviously takes the piss out of my stammering.
"Shut up! That's Not funny!" I scoff, putting my menu away and turning away to pout in false annoyance.
"Made you laugh though didnt it." He speaks smoothly giving me a wink. My entire face felt hot and flushed. A wink coming from such a handsome man was very overwhelming to say the least.

About two hours pass and me and Sangwoo are still at the cafe. Thankfully I finally managed to be able to speak normally and no longer stammered my worlds getting flustered. However, as time went on, I kept feeling a burning stare to my right. I glance over to see a pretty girl staring at Sangwoo. And I don't mean just every now n then looking over, she was staring while blushing. Twirling her hair in effort to get Sangwoo to notice her.
"What's with that face? You look silly" Sangwoo suddenly speaks up, making me sigh. Looking down at my hands.
"Uhm, there's a girl over there who keeps staring over here, it's making me anxious."
"Really? I haven't noticed."
"How haven't you noticed!" I ask jolting my head up to look at Sangwoo, only to see his reasoning as to why he never noticed the girl staring this way. His gaze was completely locked onto me.

"I only notice who I want to." He states almost bluntly. I felt my face blush so hard my cheeks felt like they were on fire. His eyes were so beautiful, so soft and welcoming with a heartwarming smile.
"Excuse me?" We were interrupted by the young lady approaching us, holding herself in a shy manner as she stood beside our table, beside Sangwoo. However his gaze doesn't move from me, he continues to stare at me with his longing eyes and smile. I felt my cheeks blush ever harder if that was even possible. "Sorry if this seems too forward sir but I was wondering if I could have your number-"
"Get lost" Sangwoo snaps at the woman. I felt so taken aback. He was so blunt and abrasive with his wording, almost like he didn't even give his words a second thought.
"I-I'm sorry what?" The woman asks, taking a step back. Clearly she wasn't expecting that type of reply either. With how pretty she was I'm sure she didn't get turned down or rejected very often..
"I said get lost. Can't you see I'm trying to have a nice date with someone? Beat it. You're bumming me out." He scoffs, giving her an agitated stare.
"Sangwoo!-"
"Fuck you asshole!" The girl yells before storming off back to her table. She was clearly very furious and honestly I don't blame her.
"Sangwoo that was so mean of you! Why were you so rude to her? She only wanted to ask you for your number! You're an attractive guy you can't blame her for trying! At least she tried to be polite abo-"
"So you think I'm attractive?" He smirks, his eyes staring right into mine making my brain go numb. 'Dammit Sangwoo stop trying to get me flustered while I scold you! It's not fair.'
