AVERY GISON'S POV 

I woke up and a familiar ceiling met my eyes. 

Ahhh.. 

Nang hindi niya ako masagot ay sinunggaban niya ako ng halik ang voila! 

We ended up making love the whole night!

Pinagmasdan ko siya habang himbing na himbing siya sa pagtulog. 

Kung anong ikinatapang ng aura niya ay siyang ikinaamo niya kapag tulog siya. 

I stroke his hair.. 

His forehead.. 

Down to his nose and to his lips. 

I'll surely miss waking up like this.. 

Humigpit ang yakap niya sa akin atsaka siya sumiksik lalo sa leeg ko. 

I can even hear his breathe! 

Damn! 

We just made love last night and here i am feeling hot!

I knocked in to his office. 

Pumasok ako at inilipag ang kape na dala ko para sa kaniya. 

"Thank you.." He said without looking at my eyes. 

Sunod kong inilapag sa lamesa niya ang resignation letter ko. 

Kumunot ang noo niyang tumingin sa akin. 

"What's this Avery?" he asked me. 

And this time he called me by my first name. 

Normally he'll call me "Ms. Gison" Because we are at work.

And it looks like today is an exemption.. Thanks to my resignation letter. Tsk!

"It's my resignation letter sir." Pormal ko na sabi. 

"Sino nagsabi na pwede ka mag resign? We have a contract remember?" 

"Yes, We do have a contract. Pero wala sa kontrata na hindi ako pwede mag resign. And besides.. Nandiyan pa naman silang tatlo. Don't worry.. I'll handle my work properly to them. Para walang maging aberya." 

"Avery seryoso ka dito?" 

*Knock knock!* 

Parehas kaming napatingin sa pintuan. 

"Mr. Velasco Miss Madrigal is waiting for you at the conference room together with Mrs. Velasco." Shaira said that saves me from him. 

Inis siyang bumuntong hininga atsaka hinilot ang sentido niya. 

"We are not yet done." He told me in a serious tone before he leaves. 

Nang makabalik ako sa lamesa ko ay siyang paglapit sa akin ni Shaira. 

"Ms. Gison, Do you mind having a coffee with me?" She asked me and this time. She didn't smile. 

I just nod and followed her at the pantry. 

"I saw that. I saw him holding your resignation letter! Naku,naku! Heto na nga ba ang sinasabi ko!" Nagpapanick na sabi niya. 

"I'm sorry Shaira.. Hindi ko din ginusto ang mga nangyayari na ito. It's just that.. It's too much already. May awa naman ako sa sarili ko.." I reasoned out. 

Naiintindihan ko ang reaction niya dahil sino ba naman ang gustong maiwan sa ere?

Apat kaming pumasok dito tapos bigla akong mag reresign.
