This time I didn't wake up from a nightmare. It's been a long time since I've felt this great after waking up. I changed into a blue tank top, a black leather jacket, black ripped jeans, and heeled combat boots. I shoved my sneakers in my bag for gym class. I always made sure I had my sunglasses on before leaving home. I quickly ate some Reese's Puffs before heading out the door for school. I drove to school and pulled in just behind Scott on his dirt bike. I saw Stiles in my review mirror. I pulled into my normal spot since no one likes parking in the back of a parking lot. But this time Stiles and Scott pulled on either side of me. Weird they usually park near the front closest to the school. I turned my car off and grabbed my bag. Stiles and I got out of our vehicles at the same time.

"Why did you guys park back here? No one parks this far." Plus if my ex is still around and sees me with a guy let alone two I would be screwed despite the fact he thinks I'm dead.

"After last night it might be a good idea to stick together," Scott said after he took his helmet off.

"Probably a good idea. I just want to make sure that if my ex is around he doesn't see me around anyone let alone guys. It would make everything worse. It would probably fuck him up seeing me still alive though," I said with a dark laugh.

"He's that bad isn't he?" I nodded.

"Don't worry I carry a bat in my Jeep," Stiles said motioning back to his Jeep.

We had already started walking into the school.

"Well if I'm there he'll be catching my hands if anything. I get first dibs after everything he did to me."

"Unless he catches my bat in his face first," Stiles muttered. I laughed.

"If you get to him before me make sure Scott is videotaping it for me if I'm not there, or even if I am there. Because I would love watching that on repeat," I said patting him on the back.

We headed to our lockers and did my normal routine.

"See you guys at lunch," I said waving at them before heading to my first class.

Classes went by smoothly as usual nothing new or outrageous. I walked into the cafeteria and got in line to grab some food. It was burger day. It's been a while since I made burgers. So that's what I grabbed with chips and water. I went to the normal table I sat at my first day. The boys joined not too soon after. Then Lydia came by. We were all eating and making jokes. While in the middle of laughing, I caught a scent that I hoped I would never smell again. Fuck. I immediately stopped everything I was doing. I grabbed my phone and quickly sent a text to Derek.

'He's here.'

I hope I didn't need to explain further.

"Jade, are you okay?" Scott asked me.

I shook my head no. I kept whipping my head around trying to find him but haven't caught sight of him yet.

"I'll be right back," I said in a monotone voice.

I left my stuff and walked out of the cafeteria quickly. I was going to go to the office to make sure he wasn't on the premises. But I didn't make it far.

"There you are. I thought I killed you," a voice that I hoped I would never hear again. I slowly turned around.

"How the fuck did you find me?" I was trying to keep my cool but he never made it easy.

He clucked his tongue at me and shook his finger like I was a child caught doing something I shouldn't have. "You know how I feel about you swearing," he said with a pouty face.

"I don't give a fuck. You don't own me. How the fuck did you even find me?" I was clenching my jaw and had my hands balled into fists.

"Aw, what are you going to do? Hit me?" he gave me that pouty mouth again.
