Y/n pov:

Silence, that's all I can hear minus the heart rate monitor they hooked up to me. Y'know, having a reversed Aura sucks. Dad says its what makes me "special" but is it worth sending me here every time I use it? I didn't think so.

Tai: Hey Y/n. How are ya?

Y/n: Bed ridden, bored, my butt itches, you know. The usual. Thanks for asking dad.

Tai: Heh, a chip off the ole block. Ruby, Yang. Can you look after your brother while I go see if some friends of mine can do anything for him?

Ruby: Aye Aye captain! *salutes*

Dad leaves the three of us... I'll be honest, I'm the literal definition of burden at this point. I guess having an Aura that tries to kill you will have that effect.

Yang: Yin? You in there? Hellooooo.

Oh right. the nickname Yang gave me as a coping thing for us. Kinda fitting since I'm the smarter but less physically capable of us.

Y/n: *Flicks Yang's nose* That a good enough answer?

Yang: OW! CHEAP SHOT! CHEAP SHOT! I demand a burger as an apology!

Y/n: Weren't you trying to cut back on all the greasy food because it was messing with your training and Weiss kept getting on your back about it? Besides, how am I supposed to order McDonald's if my Scroll ended up busted because I dropped it in the freezer?

Yang: I hate it when you're right Y/n! Let's just play video games instead.

So we do. Ruby and Yang have their Scrolls, while I have a heavily modified SEGA Game Gear.

Third person pov:

Tai: Come on! You have to have SOMETHING!

Ozpin: I'm sorry Tai... But there's nothing I can do. There hasn't ever been a case of a person's Aura acting like Y/n's in the history of Remnant.

General Ironwood: Hm... I think I might have something.

To say Tai is ecstatic that something could be done is an understatement. He quickly turns to the General with a serious look.

Tai: What is it? I don't want any details left out.

The General goes on to explain how a Dust miner stumbled across an unknown metal plating during their excursion in Forever Fall. When Atlas Military's head scientists excavated the whole area, they found a massive wreckage that doesn't line up with anything Atlas have created. The only plausible conclusion is that the wreckage is of alien origin. After studying what data they could gather from the intact computer systems, the machine was designed to be capable of the impossible, granting wishes. Slowly but surely, they were able to piece some of its parts back together. Though after a while, it seemed to be doing that by itself. Until it mysteriously stopped and shut down...
