She runs off before I can turn her into swiss cheese with lasers. I de-summon my minigun and look at Shantae with a sheepish grin.
Shantae: *Sigh* Alright, she's up to something. Sky. You and Charles stay here while we go follow her.
I follow behind her, still mad I couldn't at least get a shot in. Seriously, just ONE hit would've been catharsis overdrive!
Shantae: Y/n, why're you so... unhinged?
Y/n: Oh that's easy. I used to train with my mom to get as strong as my sisters without using an Aura and... well let's just say the training regime involved me literally banging my head against a wall until I could break through it... Makes me wonder how I'm still sane.
