Toy Story (Featuring the Lost Toy Princess)

Through the Vents

After the toy princess found out about Al's plans, she raced out to find her friends.

"Buzz!" Lily exclaimed. "Buzz, where are you?!"

She kept looking as she ran, until she found a Buzz Lightyear isle. She walked down and looked at the action figures in their boxes. She suddenly heard one of the boxes shake and saw one fall off the shelves. The figure broke free out of the box and Lily walked towards the box to see the real Buzz.

"Buzz?!" Lily gasped, before she helped to free him. "What happened to you?!"

"You don't want to know." Buzz replied. "Have you seen your father?"

"No, but we were wrong." Lily explained, as she freed Buzz's arms. "Al didn't take Daddy here, he's going to take him to a museum in Japan as part of a collection."

"Then we must find Al and follow him to where he took Woody." Buzz said, as he freed his legs.

Buzz and Lily ran out of the isle, but the space ranger stopped as he saw something unexpected. Lily noticed and walked over to see what Buzz was looking at. The two saw a plastic green egg that was left alone. Buzz looked around if the parents might be back, but he didn't see them. He looked at the egg for a brief moment before he made his decision. Buzz picked up the egg and smiled.

"Don't worry, little guy or girl." Buzz said. "You're going to be safe with me."

Lily smiled, before they heard Al from his office. The duo peeked outside the isle and saw Al with his bag.

"Al, you are rich! Rich, rich, rich!" Al laughed.

The duo saw Rex's tail that poked out of the bag and gasped in shock. They followed after Al and Buzz accidentally tripped over the spilled balls from earlier, but Lily caught the egg. As Al was getting close to the doors, Buzz made his way acrobatically to the bag, but the doors stop him. Buzz fell down to the floor and Lily followed behind. Buzz and Lily frantically jumped up and down to get the doors to open, but the car drove away. Lily frowned as the car left, but she and Buzz saw that the car drove over to the apartment building directly across from Al's Toy Barn.

"Oh." Lily muttered. "But how do we get out now?"

Buzz got an idea and moved Lily out of the way, before he knocked a board game display to make the doors open automatically. Buzz held the egg and ran with Lily to exit the building. Suddenly, a Zurg toy emerged from a box behind them and the emperor looked at Buzz ahead.

"Huh? Destroy Buzz Lightyear!" Zurg exclaimed as he followed after the duo, who had no idea of who was behind them. "Destroy Buzz Lightyear! Destroy Buzz Lightyear!"

A few minutes later, Buzz and Lily were under a traffic cone as Lily carried the egg. Buzz looked around and saw a giant leaf. He and Lily smiled for an idea and the princess crafted the leaf into a sling for Buzz to wear and he placed the egg in the sling. The duo heard a noise that came from the vents.

"Hey, Buzz!" Rex called out. "Stop! Slow down!"

Buzz and Lily made their way in the vents and walked down.

"Wait, are the others with a copy of you?" Lily asked.

"Sort of." Buzz replied. "But if we follow the sound of the others, we'll catch up to them."

The duo kept walking, until they heard the elevator about to go up.

"I might know how to get to them." Buzz said. "Hope you're good with upside down."

"Huh?" Lily muttered.
