"what's going on?" a voice asked behind me. I turned around to see a stern looking face. a recognisable, stern looking face. "m-mr turner," I stuttered. "correct, miss Williams," he snarled. "what are you and young miss Noelle doing on the ground?" he asked as diamond and myself stood up,brushing ourselves off. "w-well we crashed into each other," I explained, stubbling over my words. his piercing look staring down at us. "so you was running in the corridor, miss Williams?" he asked coldly. "well yes but.." I tried to explain. "detention," he grinned. "what?" I asked. "you have a detention," he explained. "i understood that but why..?" I asked. "for running, young child," he said, turning to walk away. "whatever,"i mumbled and walked off.

I walked until I reached the schools field. the grass slowly coming to it's end while the sound of silence surfed in my brain. however the melody of silence was interrupted by muttering. a calm voice. a familiar voice. I went to walk over to the owner of the muttered voice to find knight. "knight?" I said, grabbing their shoulder. they looked at me but their eyes had changed from emerald to pearl white. "wait-" I said. I looked closer, waiting for them to talk. "hello pumpkin,"they said, but the voice didn't belong to them. "Mother?" I asked. "Hello," she repeated through my friend. "Mother, what are you doing?" I asked her. "Well I wanted to talk to you pumpkin," she said, making knight smile. "Mother you can not control my friend," I said coldly. "But their so sweet, sticking up for my daughter," mother giggled. "Mother they got suspended because of me," I muttered. "We'll talk about it later my dear," she said before she left. Knights eyes turned back into emerald before she collapsed into my arms. "It's okay," I whispered as they looked panicked. "What the fuck was that!" They yelled as they stood up. "My mother wanted to talk to me..through you," I muttered as I brushed the dirt off my leg.

It was about 3 o'clock when the head teacher came to collect knight and Lucas. Before knight left they muttered something to Lucas and Lucas nodded. I calapsed into my chair and let out a deep breath. Next to me was Ezra. "Hey you okay?" Ezra asked me. Their voice was calm and their scent filled my insides. "Yeah I'm fine," I said looking at them. "First day and two people already suspended for a week," Ezra laughed. "Yeah," I said looking back infront of me. After a couple of minutes I felt a tapping on my shoulder. At first I ignored it until they did it again. I turned around and stared. The person tapping me was a male dragon-snake hybrid. "What?" I whisper-shouted. "Are you royal?" He asked me. "Yes so what?" I asked. "I'm billy,Lucas' best mate," he introduced. "Okay?" I asked unconcerned. "And well you're the reason he's suspended," billy said. "Ain't my fault he sent a kid to hospital is it?" I said and turned back round. "Kinda is," he said leaning forward. "Fucking ain't," I muttered when the bell rang. I stood up and left the room.

The hallway seemed more crowded this time and longer. People shoved past me,stood on my tail and was yelling and laughing down my ears.I clenched my fist and dug my nails into my palm. I took three deep breaths as I pushed past a group of girls giggling. After five minutes of walking, I reached where the detentions were held. "Ah miss Williams," mr turner said. "Yeah whatever," I said and sunk into a chair. I rested my head back and crossed my arms. Within the black void that covered my eyes,I saw a fuzzy picture. "Miss Williams get up!" The teacher yelled at me. I opened my eyes and rolled them across the top of my eyelids. "I'm up you old hag," I whispered. And looked outside and watched the birds and clouds. I heard muffled voices come from outside and saw people run up a hill. i rolled my eyes and put in one of my earphones in and lent back into my chair.
