"Keerthi! Come fast we are getting late!" Nithya shouted standing near the scooty outside their house all dressed up for the farewell party.
Keerthi: "Coming!" Let's go.
They have started for the college.
At College:
Nithya and Keerthi reached the college and are talking to thier friends. Suddenly Nithya saw a man from the back and thought "Who is this? looks like I know him"🤔. Her thoughts are broken by the principal's voice.
Principal: Hello students! Welcome to the farewell. Like every year this year also another batch of students are leaving our college to follow their dreams and journey. I hope this college has given you knowledge and memories that you can carry with you through out your lives. Like every year we have a chief guest to wish our students. So, let me welcome our chief guest Mr. Rudra Vishwanathan IPS to share a few words to the students. The speech will be followed by the cultural events.😊
The auditorium is filled with cheers and claps👏. The man turned and Nithya was lost in him. He was wearing a white shirt with sleeves rolled and as he approached the stage he has removed his goggles and started speaking.
Rudra: Hello every one. Thank you for inviting me here. I will not give long speeches because I know you are waiting for the culturals. I would just like to say to you all A very best wishes for the future. I hope each one of you grow in your life and contribute to the growth of our society. Also college gives you friends who stand by you forever so never lose them because people you meet in your life from now on will have bigger expectations from you. So always keep your genuine people with you. I hope you all have a great evening Thank you.😊
Everyone in the auditorium clapped for him and soon the culturals have started.👏
Rudra was speaking on his phone outside the auditorium . Just when Nithya came there and called him. "Rudra!". But he could not hear her due to the noise from the auditorium. She called again but again there is no response from him. She huffed and loudly called him "Oh Hello ACP Sir!"😤. which is when he turned around and saw her. A small smile appeared on his face 🙂and he cut the call and came towards her.
Nithya: hi!
Rudra: Hello!
Nithya: You have not told me that you are coming as the chief guest to our college.😉
Nithya asked as if complaining with a pout on her face.
Rudra: haha! It was also a last minute invite for me and I could not say no.
Nithya: Oh! But Why are you outside? Come inside. You know I also have a performance today. I am going to sing. Don't you want to see your friend sing?😀
"Ohh! You sing"😯. Rudra asked surprised and said "Ofcourse, I will come and listen".😊
Nithya giggled and went inside🤗. Soon her name is called and she started singing.
