Heroic AU (Villainous)

Villainous is such a masterpiece of a show, and the Heroic AU is filled with perfection too, but also, flaws as well. Not all shows are perfect, so neither will be its AUs. I'll get to what I believe is wrong soon, first, I'll go over Heroic.

Heroic is a Role Swap AU, that unlike most of others, keeps the main characters as the main characters. It could be considered an Inverted AU as well.

Do not mistake the two kinds!

Role Swap: The simple change of roles;

Inverted: The change of colours, personality, and sometimes even abilities/powers.

Or at least, that's how we'll differentiate both kinds in this book.

The big and bad Black Hat becomes the sweet, kind, benevolent and innocent White Hat, boss of the White Hat Org. He helps heroes all over the Cartoon Netverse and even criticises them over a few things that they could do better. In a few pictures, he's shown to like Clementia, just like she, as Dementia, liked Black Hat in the original.

Character Grade: 10/10

Reason: His swap is on point!

From terrifying evil and nightmare bloody king to a pure sweetheart who views the whole world as something to protect from evil. The swap of personality they made from Black to White was made correctly in my opinion.

Dementia becomes the sweet big sister figure Clementia. From all the fanart I've seen, she looks adorable and acts like a big sister. Civilised and protective. I can't help but laugh a bit when I found a fanart that has her using her secret terrifying side to make Slug stop creating deadly bombs. Sometimes her crush on White Hat is the same, just less obsessive than her Villainous version, other times she's the crush. She's the sweetest girl and gets along very well with all hero ladies.

Character Grade: 9,5/10

Reason: Her character was also very well swapped, but there are still a few things confusing, such as the crush. But taking out the confusing sudden change of personality and the crush thing, she's a very well-written character of the AU.

Doctor Flug, the least bad of the villains, becomes Doctor Slug. In the AU, he's an aggressive psychopath scientist with a very evil mindset and a weird passion for bombs, destruction and blood. He and White Hat don't get along at all, especially because White is nice and Slug is down bad. He created 6.0.6. and I'm assuming he came out just as Slug desired (not as White desired, though). He probably made a few experiences on villains the organisation captured to test his products and sell them to the hero clients.

Character Grade: 0/10

Reason: I despise how his character was portrayed, and I'll use Flug himself to elaborate my feelings on it.

First, Flug already is a psychopath! He's just not as down terrifying, creepy and aggressive as the others because he's a nerdy villain! But he can be terrifying! Has people forgotten about Mojo Jojo? Slug should not be as evil as he's portrayed in this AU. Flug is already down bad in the original, if you're changing a personality, then change it correctly! Make bad become good, not make the bad worse!

He can be as aggressive, but more close to an anti-hero maybe. Slug could believe in the need of killing villains because he doesn't believe in redemption. He's more serious and reserved, and less proud of himself. Often criticised for his aggressive attitude, even by White Hat himself (even if in a more compassionate way). Slug may not want the approval of people for his heroism. Just like Flug has a villainous heart, Slug should have one too, being not a goody-two-shoes, but still having sympathy for heroes and the might for saving and protecting people. Still a scientist, but with much better physique.
