It had been more than 10 years since the family moved to California. Life was well spent differently than what they expected it to be. Soon the calm and peace became normal. There were no more news of murders. No more animatronics. And most importantly no William Afton around.
Things were exactly as they were meant to be. Michael and Y/n attended a university to earn their bachelors degree as Henry had promised them great education and a good career. Both were near the end 20's living successfully in their own apartment. Michael worked as an engineer and Y/n worked as a [dream job]. Everything was perfect as it was meant to be.
It didn't matter if there was peace. She often had nightmares and panic attacks of that very same day. The day she lost her dear brother, Gregory and her father. And each night, Michael was there to comfort her. He was always there, especially since she's in the process of healing.
With that, y/n often found herself daydreaming of having a family. But a part of herself was afraid to go to the next step. She found herself overthinking. What if he comes back? What if he finds out and goes after them?
She shook those thoughts away from her head and rather lived in the moment. She was currently in the kitchen preparing dinner for her and Michael.
"Y/n! Go get ready hurry!" Victoria came from her room rushing to the kitchen "What? What happened?" Y/n stared at her blankly. "We have to go! I made a reservation for us at that restaurant!" Victoria grabbed Y/n's arm dragging her to her room.
"But I'm almost finished making food. Michael's almost here" Y/n stood still watching her best friend invade her closet "This is an emergency. Way more important than cooking" Victoria pulled out a lovely floral dress. "Here put this on" she tossed the dress to Y/n.
She sighed and complied with her, slipping the dress over her body. Victoria fixed her hair and clipped a flower on the side "There, perfect" she smiled at her best friend. You smiled finding the compliment making your heart warm.
"Now let's hurry! Before we miss our reservation!" Victoria grabbed your arm and dragged you out of the apartment and into her white 1990 Volkswagen Beetle. The cute part was you both had matching ones.
"Okay but where even is this restaurant?" you said quickly grabbing the seatbelt and putting it on. Victoria turned on the engine and scar tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers began playing.
"It's a surprise! I wanna take you out" Victoria backed out of the drive way and began driving to the mysterious restaurant you had no idea about. "You wanna take me out?" You raised a brow and crossed your arms over your chest.
