The next morning, you slowly opened your eyes to regain your vision and senses from the blinding sight. With a few effective blinks, you realize that what awaits you to see will definitely make you tell that you are having a great morning already.

You are lying down sideways, facing another person sleeping beside you, and that's none other than Jeongyeon, who is still peacefully sleeping. Your faces are almost indistinguishable from one another.

"So beautiful," you muttered as you traced the beauty plastered around her alluring face.

Just at the exact timing, you felt that Jeongyeon's body slightly moved. Then, you witnessed her eyes carefully opening to match her perspective on your closed-up look.

Her eyes widened and froze in place when she got to realize that you and her fell asleep after tiring hours of doing this and didn't mind at all sleeping on the carpeted floor with both of them facing each other side to side.

"Good morning," you greeted her as she leaned her head backward and kept on staring at you in disbelief.

"H-hi... good morning too, YN," Jeongyeon softly responded after reviewing what happened last night.

"We really loosened our energy last night from building LEGOs, huh?" you said. chuckled, and Jeongyeon reacted the same.

Yeah, we did. Yesterday was a lot; no wonder why we didn't mind sleeping here on the floor."

"Did you sleep well, though?" You asked her thoughtfully. "I mean, it probably might've been more uncomfortable here than in your bed."

"No, I'm fine. The carpet is soft anyways," Jeongyeon said, but that wasn't her only reason why it doesn't bother her that she ended up sleeping in the living room, and she didn't tell you that because... She was embarrassed and kind of afraid for you to know since it was about her getting to sleep with you.

She smiled sheepishly at the truth, having her trace herself and you very close to each other. If she gets a chance, she would love to witness this with you daily.

But again, the what-ifs are holding her back... just like you.

"Are you sure? If you still feel tired, I can lead you to your room and continue sleeping there."

"Don't worry, YN. I feel recharged now anyway." Jeongyeon flashed an appreciative smile.

"Okay, if you say so." You shrugged, patting your thigh. "Are we almost going to finish the set?"

"The race track LEGO? Yeah, I can do it by myself now. It's just the final step remaining." Jeongyeon nodded. "I mean, if only we weren't that sleepy last night, we could've done it there instead."

"But that's fine; you have a huge process now. You don't get to work on it a lot more," you commented.

"You're right." Jeongyeon agreed. The two both smiled, not even noticing that they got lost in the trance again of looking at each other's features while the voices in their head pushed by the feelings they've keeping in their heart echoes.
