The whole office was a mass of whispers and gossip. I usually try to stay out of other people's business so I ignored it but just before lunchtime, I give up.
"What the hell is going on ?" I say in a rushed whisper to Soph" It's like that time the CEO's sex tape leaked". With a sigh, she says "Girl do you live under a rock or some shit".
Continuing she says "Listen up, Conti Fashion is coming here for a photoshop, and rumor has it the head CEO of the Conti Empire will be here as well".
I think about what she said and reply "Isn't he like an arrogant playboy dickhead", "He is also filthy rich, single, and hot as fuck "she adds. I'm about to respond when the intercom goes: off all personnel to the conference room I repeat, all personnel to the conference room thank you.
"Come on, "she says "What about our lunch break it's meant to start in 3mintues" I whispered back as we head to the conference room.
Once we are all situated our manager (Samuel) moves to stand in the front after a few moments he starts "So as most of you know Conti Fashion has chosen us to shoot and edit their segment in Vogue magazine" whispers start but a harsh look from him silences them.
He continues "Today we have the managing director with us Miss Isabella Conti, Just then an otherworldly stunning woman walks in "Thank you for the introduction Sammy," she says.
Now in front of us, she continues" Let's cut to the chase we start work tomorrow and the Ceo of the Conti Empire will be there to see how it goes, I would love it to go smoothly so try not to fuck this up for me, thanks.
With that she turns and leaves we all sit in shocked silence until finally, Samuel breaks it by saying "You heard her so clear your workload by the end of the day" Everyone nods in agreement. As we start to leave I say quietly "So lunch has to wait I guess" She does not bother to reply just rolls her eyes.
