Throughout dinner, I learned a lot of things about the head of the Conti empire

1. He is actually funny in a dry dark humor sort of way that I vibe with

2. He has two twin sisters who he isn't cool with

3. He is EXTREMELY interested in my plans for the future kids and marriage

Which is okay I guess

"Tell me about your family?" he says breaking my train of thought "Oh mhm well my parents are happily married and I have an older brother, who works at a law firm they love him, he is basically perfect". I stop to take a sip of wine my throat suddenly feeling dry.

"And," he says waiting for me to continue

"And what?" I ask "What is your relationship with them?" he responds with a sigh

A small smile tugs my lips up "Did you really just ask me about my relationship with family on the first date? damn that's deep what's next marriage "

Giving me a matching smile he says "Why the hell not, that's the plan anyway"

I freeze what

After a while we finish dinner during which I made it my mission to avoid any other deep topics by the end I'm all but ready to leave and run back home but he stops me.

"Kitten, there is an absolutely beautiful city view I would love to show will you follow me ? "the photographer in me couldn't refuse which brings us to the present standing in front of the penthouse suite door as he types in the code well shit.

Nicolo pushes open the door and steps in. I on the other hand take my time wondering if I can bolt but seeing him staring at me with an amused smirk on his face I give up fuck it, I take a step into the suite and I swear my heart stops at the sight

I spend a whole 20 minutes staring out the window that I don't even realize that he left my side until he hands me a cup of hot tea "You live here?" I ask with my eyes still in awe
"That's right Would you like a tour little kitten," he asks "fuck yeah," I say without hesitation

The place was gorgeous I sipped my tea as he went from room to room explaining. There were mostly greys and blacks in the whole area but it

also seems comfy, homey

Back where we started he takes my cup and then asks "Do you want to shower or pick a movie to watch?"

What?" I shirk my brows bunching

"Your staying over remember I told you to pack a bag " he states simply walking to the kitchen "Yeah but I don't bring my stuff maybe next time I say"heading slowly to the door

"Don't bother you need a thumbprint to open it plus I brought you some stuff just in case"

"So get comfy it's going to be one hell of a night," he says with a dangerous grin on his lips
