So, the honeymoon begins.

The day started quite smoothly and before we know it, Darson and I are miles high into the sky on his private jet.

I'm still not a fan of the flying metal but I've grown less anxiety prone with every encounter.

"C'mhere." Darson waves me over. I slide from my seat to cuddle with him on the plush cream chair he's sitting on. "Have some." He hands me a glass of champagne and I take it. The champagne is cold to my lips. Upon parting of the glass and my lips, I am met with Darson's lips.

He tastes like champagne. A little bit sweet, sour and absolutely ravishing.

I pull away and nestle into his arms. His chin makes contact with my head and his hands with my own. Three weeks of this. Three weeks of just us. The thought of being in his arms for so long makes me a little giddy.

I'm not sure what Darson has planned. We both decided on the three countries we'll visit but he opted to plan everything else.

Upon landing, we both exit the jet. It's actually quite windy but the weather looks enjoyable. Bright and beautiful. Tendrils of my hair bellow in the wind. I slide my sunglasses into my eyes to shield the sun then turn to Darson. "So where are we? France, Italy-"

"Australia." My neck almost snaps due to how fast I have to look at him. Australia? This wasn't on our list. Is this just a quick stop?

"What? Why?" I quickly have to add to my rambling. "I mean yay, Australia. I love it but you didn't mention we were coming." Don't get me wrong, although I didn't do much on our trip to Australia last year, I enjoyed it. It was beautiful. Memorable, really.

"We didn't really get to enjoy our honeymoon last year for very strange reasons-" Strange, huh? I can't help but grin. "And I think it's only fair we give Australia a rerun." His grin is mesmerizing. Gosh, Darson zip your mouth. There's no need to charm the woman you've already charmed. You're being a show off.

"What strange reasons? It was pretty reasonable and clear." We make our way to the waiting car.

"We both wanted each other so bad but pretended we didn't. Isn't that strange?" Darson wiggles his eyebrows and I snort. He's so wrong about that.

"Darson Meldeev, I can assure you I did not want you." I'm suddenly being pushed against the side of the waiting car. Darson traps me between his arms.

"You did. It's just it took getting you wasted to admit it." I narrow my eyes at him. He gently pulls me from the car to open it.

"What exactly did I say that night?" I only remember little of the night after the club and the little I can recount is so risky and there's not enough context.

"Get in the car. Only I can know." I stare at him. His eyes may give it away. Surely, he'll tell me what I said. Nothing? Darson arches an eyebrow and that earns him a sigh from me as I drop down in the car seat. He follows and we pull onto the road. The driver is so focused on the road that it also leads me to believe he has blocked us out.

"You really won't tell me?" He's not giving in. "It's invalid since I was drunk by the way. Drunk people say stupid shit all the time. I couldn't tell the difference between a circle and a square that night."

"You're really defensive about liking me, arent you?" He's beaming. I can tell he's enjoying this.

"I'm still beefing with Darson from last year." Darson is practically in a fit of laughter. I've never seen him laugh so much. He's ridiculously more attractive when he stretches his face muscles like that.

"You so wanted me." I'm too appalled to speak. "And by the way, you couldn't tell the difference between a circle and a square that night but you did manage to figure out the difference between a kiss and a peck." My eyes widen. What? Wait.
